“Wouldn't stay here again”

The first room we were given, I could literally write in the dust on the desk and the TV was sitting in the middle of the floor, had been taken out of the cabinet for whatever bizarre reason??? The clerk was not very apologetic when giving us a different room.

“nice stay near pdx”

Hotel was very clean and up to date. very convenient to air port and freeways, but also very quiet. Had to get in car and drive a short distance on freeway to find dinning. go a couple of exits north on the 205 for dinning.

Area recommendations

portland rose gardens are beautiful. beautiful drive east to waterfalls. drive west to Astoria.

“Just Fine”

For what it was -a place to stay for one night after a late flight, this place was an excellent value. Room was redone and the nicest motel room I've ever come across.

“Don't judge a book by its cover. Great value for a good price.”

We were in Portland to explore but realize that most places downtown are fairly expensive and we were on a budget. The room was very reasonably priced and it was very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is just a quick drive to The Grotto and Voodoo Too (less busy than the downtown location). It's fairly easy to access freeways for a short drive into the downtown area as well. A bonus is the Jim Dandy Drive-In across the street, which has a great menu of tasty treats. We stayed Friday through Monday and the only downside was the construction going on in the lot adjacent to the property. We arrived late on Friday so it didn't affect us until Monday morning, when we were awoken by very loud and squeaky cranes. Fortunately, we had to check out so it was only mildly annoying as we prepared to leave. Overall, a great place to stay for a VERY decent price. Not one of those places that advertises a great rate and then you feel grossed out by the room itself and feel deceived by the pics. This place was a blessing and a great find.

“Good experience and a good value”

This motel is a good option for those looking for inexpensive lodging close to the Portland Airport. The rooms are very nice, and the bathroom vanity area is especially attractive. The motel is very close to the 205 freeway, which I expected to be noisy, but it really wasn't. There was some sort of demolition going on on the motel grounds, but that fortunately didn't start too early. I believe the motel is also within walking distance to the lightrail station, which would enable you to get into the city center inexpensively. All together, this motel is a good value.

“Impressive”

Grate value for the price, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful location to PDX airport.

“Good for a quick stay-and-go”

The hotel is close to highway 205. But the neighborhood is not all that great. The AC didn't have variable speed control. It either runs or stops. No such things as slow. At the minimum speed, the AC puts out lots of air and noise. The "free" breakfast is so-so. The dining room consists of 2 hotel rooms, and it was fairly crowded on a Sunday. It was an OK for a one night stay.

“Great Find”

We wanted a place for the night that would be easy to find, but still comfortable and fun for the kids. This Quality Inn fit the bill, although if I hadn't found it on Expedia I probably would have passed it over. It is in the process of a renovation, but that didn't hinder our experience at all, and it really was a quaint, comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend it!

Room was beautiful with a wonderful continental breakfast. Would recommend to anyone and so close to the airport...it was perfect!!!
