"Very nice hotel! Great location!"
Comfy and quiet room. Great staff. Not crazy about the Valet parking fees as IMO it should be a one-time charge for your entire stay.

"The hotel was really nice!"
Overall excellent, the only think that would be nice is a fridge and a microwave. But in general really clean and staff superb. Gym was also really nice!

"Great Place and People"
It was Christmas Eve and the Restaurant was closed. They found local restaurants that were open and even took us on their shuttle van.

"Nice hotel, close to Lloyd Center"
We have stayed in the hotel before, good location, and the staff are awesome. We didn't have a very nice view, and in the middle of the night, someone knocked on the door, and by the time I got there a staff was using a key card to open the door. I had the lock on it, and was surprised they could just come into your room, like that. He had come to the wrong room, and wanted to know if we called down for an extra pillow, a bit disturbing. But we would definitely go back.

"Comfort, Style, and Accessibility"
We have stayed numerous times at the Hotel Vintage Plaza and the experience has been consistently excellent each time. Lovely rooms, the always-excellent staff, a world-class restaurant on site, and easy access to much of what Portland has to offer. We look forward to a return visit sometime in the not-too-distant future.

"Comfortable room in convenient location for travel"
I had driven to Portland from Seattle for an evening recital and needed to drive back the next morning. I chose this hotel because its sale price, combined with an Expedia coupon made a good price for a hotel with these amenities, and its location at the very northern edge of the city, meant that I could avoid city traffic in the morning. The hotel is surprisingly large but was not crowded (on a January weekday evening). Because I am watching calories, I brought food to microwave for dinner and kept yogurt for breakfast--the room's microwave and refrigerator were adequate for this and for making tea or coffee--so I don't know how the restaurant is. Access to I-5 was very convenient. Large raised shower with bench to sit on.

"Kind Staff seemingly central"
All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially the valet staff who gave us directions whenever we'd leave the hotel. The hotel offers a "shuttle" service downtown where they will drive you to some local attractions, we found this service helpful. Overall everyone I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

"5 Stars across the board"
From prompt email replies on the morning of our arrival, which gave me the chance to have a bottle of Prosecco waiting for my wife and I. To their allowing our dog to tag along at a cost far less than having him boarded in Seattle, this hotel rocks. The staff is amazing. The location is fantastic - literally across the street from the Pearl District. The bed is comfortable and, for being in the middle of the city, it is extremely quiet. they have room service available through a partnership with the neighboring restaurant...two words...cheesy hashbrowns... Having grown up in Portland, I wanted to find a place that was 'Classic' but not over the top so my wife could experience Portland as I remembered it. This place is boutique without being over the top. The rooms are simple, the bed is amazing, and your literally two blocks from the Crystal Ballroom, Powells Books, etc. Oldschool Cool. We will always look at the Mark Spencer for any future trips to PDX.
