“great Motel for Staying”

i spent 2 night down there in portland and kinda like the motel. its quite a bit cheaper than other ones. a lil bit far from downtown round 10 mns driving. other than that great

“Interesting Experience”

The reason I stayed in the Cameo motel was because of how cheap it was. For how inexpensive it was it was a fairly nice motel. It was super comfy, the bed and floor seemed clean however the walls and the bathroom were not as clean. The room was outdated but not gross. The sketchiest part of the hotel was the location. It is a high drug and crime place.

“Strange”

Guests must arrive before 10 PM even with a paid reservation because staff does not respond after that time. No remote control for the TV in the room, no alternative for changing channels, and no response at the office. Morning staff did get us a remote. Hotish water takes a long time to arrive in shower. Room was cheap, clean and quiet.

“Disappointing but very clean and safe”

It was what I was looking for. Something affordable and safe. But I was expecting a little more. I couldn't find the coffee/tea that I was expecting to be present. There was a collection of bottles in my room and a couple dirty towels on the shower curtain. What hotel/motel doesn't have a clock in the room? While this on had no alarm and no clock. The most annoying thing to me though was the lighting. There was two lights next to the bed but one didn't have a bulb and the other the bulb was unscrewed. I screwed it in but than when I went to bed I found out that there was no light switch that controlled that light. I had to get a towel in order to touch the hot bulb and unscrew it. But I wasn't there to hang out in my room. So this small annoyances above were acceptable. It was clean and safe and the staff was good at re-keying my card when it stopped working.

“Won't go again”

There are two separate buildings, ours was a little further up the street from the office, we felt isolated and the neighborhood wasn't good. Our keycard won't work and when we went back to the office to find that they had left so we had to sit around and wait for them to return. Our door looked like it had been kicked in and the casing was fixed with some tiny finishing nails and there were no chains or slide locks so we didn't feel very secure. The room was in dire need of remodeling, everything was old and even the bed was broken and there were dead bees on the floor. The bathroom had a lot of mold and water damage.
