“A Good Return Visit”

This is our second stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites Porter. We enjoyed our first stay very much and needed to be back in the area again, and automatically choose to return. Again, we were treated very well, some extra accommodation was made for us -- per our request and it was a good time.

“Will be returning.”

I checked into this location because it was pretty close to my husband's home (I was making a surprise visit to see his family). The hotel was very clean, and the room was quite spacious for the three nights that I was staying. I was very impressed Staff was helpful and the bed was cozy. I would recommend this hotel to people from other states, as well as others in state that need a nice comfortable stay. The price was worth it.

“A Great Find!”

We needed to be in northwest Indiana for two nights and found this motel closeby with the the amenities we wanted. What we did not expect was to have the facilities almost entirely entirely to ourselves. It was the off-season for their closest attractions, so we were almost to ourselves. It was great! This Comfort Inn is only 1 year old -- from the conditions in the rooms and halls we would have thought they had just opened. Everything was great. We had some friends coming for our second night and they loved it also. It is important to not confuse Porter and Portage, nearby -- but this is the one to stay at.

“Good for the price”

If you don't mind driving 20 minutes to get to a grocery store, it is centrally located for some larger locations like Chicago and Michigan City. The hotel should be embarrassed by their front counter staff, who didnt know anything about their hotel, were unprofessional, and spent a good amount of time smoking at the front door. However the breakfast attendant was great and the room was clean. We would stay there again.

“Nice place”

Stayed just one night; it was very nice. As someone else said, the pool was very warm, which we really liked. You could just walk right in and it was perfect. The room was clean; the breakfast was the typical free breakfast - waffles, sausage, muffins, cereal. Very nice hotel for the price.

“good location good stay”

Very nice hotel pool is small but perfect temperature. Good location about 15 min from michigan city and about 45 min from chicago. Room was very nice. I would definetely return!
