“parfait hotel au bord de l eau”

“Great place to get away with the family”
Wonderful location and lots to do with the kids. Hotel is in a great location if you are looking for a quiet stay. Just a short drive takes you to many eateries and things to do with the kids. Would definitely recommend.
“Pleasent stay at Shoal Bay”
Having read all the mixed reviews I wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasently surprised when the studio room we got was really nice, clean and modern. We were three ladies on a girls weekend and as such made use of the spa which was also lovely. A great weekend all in all and a place I will return to with my family.
“Overpriced and Overrated”
Thought we were in for a luxurious weekend accommodation. Our room was sparse, TV old, bad reception and unwatchable. Toilet did not flush properly. Towels not changed - nothing replaced. Bed comfortable and position very good. For the money would expect more.
“Not Impressed”
We booked for a girls spa weekend in the Zenith Apartments during winter but the spa was booked out, very disappointing. Dirty towel left in bathroom from previous occupant. Almost missed our dinner cruise owing to receptionist booking taxi for wrong time. Reception staff in the indoor pool and jacuzzi section were lovely, pity about the rest.
“'Not Happy Jan'”
The lack of a reasonable suite of furniture left us thinking it was like waiting on the removalist to deliver the bulk of furniture. The three seater lounge was very uncomfortable and it helped us to decide to conclude our stay a day early. I would not return nor recommend it at all as a place to stay. In all it was a very disappointing time.
“Not impressed”
The hotel looked good from the right up. But we had the unfortnate problem with insects and the noise from the Pacific Highway was annoying during the night. The staff were apologetic about the insect problem, but I do think it was due to the room not being cleaned very well. Although the hotel has direct access to the beach, I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the beach either.
“overprice resort”
We stayed a few years ago and was very happy. Our return visit this year for our anniversary was a dissapointment. The Zenith apartments looked more like motor inns, tiredlooking overpriced, but commend them for cleanliness.The treatments for the spas were fully booked and so was buffet bfast. Next time, we will book another resort in the area and book the spa treatments separately.
