We loved our stay at Ti-tree. We had 3 apartments over Christmas and everything was perfect. The apartments are well equipped and clean. Scott was amazing and always able and ready to help with anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It suited our purposes as we did a lot of day trips and is well priced compared to other accomodation however it’s not a resort so you get what you pay for. No Shade umbrellas around deck chairs at pool.

It is very private and quiet. Has a tennis court and bbq area which we didnt get to use. The place actually has more than you need which was excellent! The host was also very friendly and accomodating, giving excellent advice on tourist sites around the area.

A lot of apartments have permanent residents. Beware of their overflowing ashtrays and empty beer cans. The place felt seedy and was way overpriced.

Ti Tree Resort for us.
Nice roomy apartments that are close to facilities & the esplanade. Great pool & BBQ area. Host was friendly & knowledgeable. Secure parking. Great A/C. We will stay again

The unit was exactly what we wanted - except there was no tropical view from the rooms which was what we had expected. Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/living were good. The exception being that some of the kitchen appliances were not cleaned ready for our use.

A small, quiet resort within easy walk of the beach and local restaurants/cafés. The kids loved the pool and tennis court (they borrowed racquets from reception) and loved seeing the geese walking around with their babies. The apartment was clean and had all the facilities we needed, although the Wifi connection was patchy during our stay. Even with a fold-up bed for our youngest there was plenty of room.

Good position - well equipped
Staff are friendly and really helpful. The position is really good - 4 minutes walk to 4 mile beach, short drive to the centre of Port Douglas and a bottle shop, deli/cafe and seafood takeaway opposite. The 2 bed townhouse was well equipped, inc washer and tumble dryer, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice pool area.

Location was great, about 10 mins from town centre. Small amount of essentials provided in room to start but have to buy own if need more. Washer/dryer in room is great.

Horrible hideous do not go
Not a 3.5 star property - unclean in every way and no supplies to fix the problem - vacuum did not work, mop and no bucket etc. Toilet upstairs did not work, fan in bathroom did not work, air conditioning inadequate upstairs, oven top was unusable due to corrosion and it generated fumes when used. Front door was unlockable and we could only lock the fly screen, pool was filthy around the edges - people had written their names in the scum at the top, Wi-Fi was hideous I had to log in upwards of 8 times a day. A dining chair collapsed during dinner and injured our child. There is no café as indicated by the website. Happy to provide pictures to support this statement.

Overall it was ok. Great if you only really need accommodation & will be spending your time out & about. Not for anyone who wants to stay somewhere & actually use facilities to keep entertained. The pool isn't as big as looks in the photo, the washing machine in our room didn't work, we weren't allowed to use the tennis courts during our 4 day stay, bbq area was dirty & we were put next to people that chainsmoked on their balcony which prevented us from sitting out on our balcony & opening our doors up to let the breeze in. On the plus side the owners were nice enough, Port Douglas has alot to offer & we'll be staying somewhere else next time.

Hi Courtney, Thanks for your feedback in relation to your stay here at Titree but we are a little bit confused in relation to your comments. We would ask you to contact us directly and clarify the issues that you have raised so we can improve our service to other guests. We were fully booked during the time of your stay and the barbecue and pool area is a focal point for all our guests. The barbecue area has been recently re-tiled, has a brand new hotplate and brand new furniture. In relation to its cleanliness you wanted to cook your breakfast on it however it hadn't yet been cleaned from the night before. We cleaned the hotplate immediately when you brought it to our attention. At no stage has the tennis court not been available to guests so we don't understand your comment in relation to lack of access and the washing machine was working fine when we checked it. All of the genuine issues that you have raised could and were easily resolved at the time. Our apartments represent extremely good value for money in Port Douglas in comparison. Thank you once again for your feedback.

Good 3-star hotel
Good choice, typical 3-star - dated rooms, but kept clean. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Great to have a pool and BBQ. Good choice for families, incl. little kids.

Nice part of town but you need a car
The room was acceptable but showing its age. Needs new carpet, curtains. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. A very quiet location just up the street from Four Mile Beach. It is a long way from Macrossan St and you can use a shuttle bus at a cost but I think you need your own transport. The Cafe across the street is overpriced.
