Thank you for the review. Yes our location is amazing with beach very close straight out our backdoor and town a 10 minute walk away. The reason the pool doesn't open until 9 is because we were getting too many complaints about noisy, unsupervised children in the pool waking everyone up way to early so the body corp decided to open it later, People like to enjoy a peaceful sleep in in the mornings.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Complaints about the stove not working were incorrect. It was user error and works perfectly. Previous guests managed as are current guests. TV was working also......not plugged in. We made an apology on arrival about the hole near the aircon on arrival but brand new aircons had just been installed two days before and we were waiting on contractor to come back and patch. Would you have preferred no aircon?? or that we had cancelled the booking altogether. Current guests not concerned at all. We are not a 5 star resort and we don't advertise that way. It sounds to me that that is what you were wanting. You paid a very low rate for your stay. If you want better you will have to pay a lot more.

thanks Brett, sorry bedding for your 3rd toddler was an over site and by talking to reception on arrival day we would have rectified immediately. Housekeeping wouldn't have been back to your room until your mid stay service. We have plenty of roll away's and linen for extra bedding requests.

Thank you for your review. We do get ants up here in the tropics and rooms are regularly sprayed. If you had informed us we would have dealt with them straight away. Sorry about the iron but we had no spares and tried to source a new one but not always easy in a small town.

Thank you for your review.Beds are very personal thing and previously we have had no complaints about the beds in that apartment. Sorry about the leaves dropping on your balcony but we have the beautiful Melaleuca trees out the back which can unfortunately drop leaves. These are self catering apartments so you get your initial supply of amenities and then supply your own as is stated in all information on the resort. This is how most places operate and is quite the normal. If you stay more than 7 days you do get a service including clean towels and bedding.

Thank you for your review. There is ample parking available with parking under tower 1 and another car park and on street parking at rear of tower 2. No we don't have a lift as is the case with most places up here. If you require a lift when booking a place always check if they have them but they are few and far between up here. Yes our building is older (as most are up here) but it is being painted and had a lot of work done over the past months. The apartment you were in is constantly requested so I am not sure what your issues were other than being dated?

We are very sorry you were so disappointed with your apartment. I can assure you the room was cleaned and inspected and that there is no mold. We do apologise for any noise but the builders were told not before 9am and obviously chose to ignore. If we had heard it or you gave us a call we would have rectified the matter straight away. Yes our position is wonderful.

Hi Leah. Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. There was one light blown in the kitchen which my husband came to fix and discovered the light fitting needs replacing so awaiting a new one. There were still 2 others working and more than adequate. On checking all other lights all were working and there were no other blown lights and on your checkout they are still all working. No complaints from previous guests about the lights who left your day of arrival.. The towel rail was not broken when I checked room for your arrival as I actually placed the towels on it myself. It looked like it had been wrenched from the wall?The aircons were not serviced while you were there but as the had faulted the technician had to go up to roof and fix and was a 5 minute fix. Aircon issues happen all the time up here in the tropics and we dealt with all issues as soon as you reported them. Yes the toilet is in front of the vanity but that is how the bathrooms are designed and no one has ever complained about it before. It is an older style complex as are most in Port Douglas. With a family of 5 you are better to book a 3 bedroom apartment and the sizes of the apartments are listed on our room descriptions. It is very sad to see people giving bad reviews for things that either don't exist or were rectified as soon as you reported them. I am glad you enjoyed our pool and amazing location.
