“Saphir Hotel”
We were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and staff were helpful and friendly.

rooms very comfortable, though could do with redecorating. Bathroom very shabby, dated shower, but powerfull, no kettle in rooms, a bit disapointing. On the whole, a comfortable stay, breakfast was adequate and replkaced regularly. Whole place could do with a bit of an overhaul. Staff helpfull, shuttle bus efficient, pleasant drivers.
“Would not use again”
We had two independent one-night stops here - the first night was average - the room seemed fairly clean but shabby. The second stop over was a disaster - we found the room dirty (a dirty pair of underpants behind the door), with broken air-conditioning and lack of toiletries/pillows. When my husband went to reception the staff promised to come and investigate which took time and then once they had looked into the problem they said they would look for another room for us, but it was pretty busy. We were told there were no spare pillows as the rooms were all booked! We were told they would phone us in 10 minutes. After 25 minutes my husband went down (as our 3 kids were already in bed).... we were given a choice of 3 double rooms as they had no rooms left that slept 6. At no time was there any apology.... In general, the hotel is shabby and has had no money spent on it to keep it in good order. We used the pool on the first visit - no swimming towels were provided - we were told to use our room towels. The changing rooms were old and ill-kept. I would definitely not recommend the hotel, the Reception area is the only part of the hotel that looks the part.
