"Shana by the beach is an amazing boutique resort. Immersed in the rain forest with amazing views including the ocean. We were on a ladies trip and it was perfect. The staff are so welcoming and they love their job, literally as their shirts say it too. Ironically I didn't notice until my girlfriend called it out but genuinely they are so nice. We had the most amazing fried snapper and were so relaxed after hanging poolside, we ordered in one night in the evening. We also did the Cataraman sunset tour which I highly recommend. The drive to get to Shana is worth it but be prepared as it is a hike and once you are there, you have trails to the beach which is part of the rain forest and be on guard as the white belly monkeys will visit. I plan to go back with my family. "

"This property was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We didn't want to have to go home. The one thing that was a bummer and certainly not something the hotel could control, was the club across the street. They were very loud until around 2am. Be prepared for that. Eveything else was top notch. From the safety, cleanliness and food to overall location. Be prepared to relax for sure!"
