“Good choice near Princeton”

Older conference hotel in a quiet wooded setting. Large, well equipped ftiness area. Easy access to Princeton campus. Room had a nice view of the woods.

“Good for College Visit”

We stayed at the hotel for only one night, but it provided more than what we expected. The new renovation has made the hotel very nice, and rooms themselves were very clean, with comfortable mattresses. We did in the morning had an altercation with a mystery wasp which somehow came into our room in the morning (????). Other than that don't listen to they guy complaining about the room service. We called at 10:00 at night and got our food and beverages in 20 minutes or less. Although we couldn't use the ameneties in the convention center (i.e. tennis courts, olympic sized swimming pool, etc) they looked really nice from our room. :)

“Nice Hotel”

When I read the reviews, I didn't expect such a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was fine and the staff was friendly.

“Nice Setting”

Very nice setting in Central NJ -- just wish there were restaurant/food options at the hotel or area for late night. Vending machine dinners are never good!

“Home away from home”

I stay in this hotel every week and the staff now know be my name, I don't have to go through the usual checking in processes. Staff are really friendly, although a downside is the lack of TV channels but some rooms manage to pick up the local channels so it's not that bad. Take a book or go for a walk very scenic and considering it's on a busy through route, it's surprisingly quiet and serene.

“Recommended hotel”

Hotel seems to be recently renovated. The room was clean and staff replaced dirty towels and glasses on the second day. Check in was quick and uneventful. Close to Princeton and within 5 minutes of restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for the price.

“Showing some signs of age”

The hotel is large and therefore a bit impersonal. It is showing signs of age in faded paint and some tarnished public spaces such as the elevators. There is a nice grill with a good looking breakfast but the price starts at $13 per person. There is no courtesy coffee available in the mornings. We had to have a technician come to the room to correct a wiring flaw that was preventing us from receiving a usable wi-fi connection. This required more than a 45 minute wait. The rooms are large although some of the furniture seems ill chosen for the space. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning performed well on a series of very hot days. On balance, the hotel worked for us primarily because we were able to obtain a good rate.

“Has Potential!”

Unfortunately this hotel had just changed hands - so when we stayed it was extremely quiet. The service was good but disappointing that there was no liquor license, it was mentioned that we could bring liquor into the hotel but with the torrential rain all day the thought of leaving the hotel did not appeal. Excellent location with huge potential, very spacious inside, great lounge area with fire and plenty of gaming tables for the kids. Fitness center was 1st rate with a lap pool and spa facilities.
