“Isolated, but very”
This hotel is situated near Princeton, and is very quiet. I found little to do in the surrounding area (although I was there specifically to see Princeton University). The hotel was very clean, the rooms very spacious and well furnished. I have no complaints and would stay there again if I had something planned in the immediate area.
“Underappreciated”
This hotel works for me very well. I stayed in 4 hotels at Princeton over 2 months and this is the best. There is a full size gym and a 20m indoor pool. Tennis court if you get to use it. The room are big and the bed is also big. Linen is ok. TVs are new and the channels work (as oppose to the 4.7* one that I regret I am trying). I don't have transport and the best part of this hotel is the weekday 7am-9pm shuttle. Weekend is not available though. However, I discover the trick that for Sat you can walk to Plainsboro Village in 10 minutes to take the bus/shuttle for as little as $1. The food at the hotel is not inspiring but the villiage has a few outlets: bakery, coffee shop, italian deli, McDonald. There is a supermarket and CVS and UPS in the villiage. My definite choice hotel in Princeton. The staffs are not super cheerful but they are polite. Actually they have improved in my 3 week stay here. Not as bad as some of the review suggests. The oldest part of the hotel is probably the lifts, they don't look good at all. But this is not an expensive hotel if you know how to book.
“Nice hotel”
Nice, clean hotel. A place I would go back to.
“Enjoy Princeton without the highway traffic noise.”
If you want to spend some time touring Princeton this is the place to stay. The conference centre is nestled in the campus away from highway traffic and noise.
“Will definitely return”
We were very impressed. The room was great, and the included breakfast was more than enough, All in all, it was the best deal for the money.
“Princeton great hotel”
This great hotel in the middle of woods is excellent the only problem is that you need a car to go to dowtown Princeton (10 minutes away).
“Stay fit and enjoy the area”
The fitness center and pool are both very nice. The pool is large enough to swim laps and the fitness center has a wide variety of weight machines, free weights, and other equipment. It was the best set-up I have seen in a hotel in a very long time. The surrounding area is also very nice.
“Excellence at the Wyndham Princeton Forrestal Hotel”
This hotel and it's amenities were nothing less then excellent. They have a great full service gym which you can use before and after your day's business. Walking trails and pool. The beds were plush and comfortable. Very cozy. The breakfast was great. One day we had a served breakfast and the other was buffet style. Great selection of healthy food while kid friendly food was a treat for families I saw eating near us. Highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and apporachable as well.
“Quiet and Nice Living”
This is a very nice hotel located close to main highways and NJ Transit. I have always found staff to be extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and I like the way rooms are setup with broadband Internet connection..
“Great for the money”
At the price I paid (that I'm not allowed to specify), this hotel was just fine. Clean, quiet, unobtrusive service. Free ethernet web access in the rooms was a plus. If you are visiting Princeton University, the hotel is a bit out of the way (~4 miles). The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, but hey, what do you expect for free? There were also free cookies in the lobby in the evening, and free newspapers (WSJ and USToday). I wouldn't consider this a destination hotel, but if you are looking for a nice place to sleep and get a good price, it can't be beat.
