“Clean and Convenient”

The price was great considering the cost of the hotels in the surrounding area. Free parking was a plus. Breakfast was good and the seating area was clean and spacious. Right across the street from the Heinz History Center and within walking distance of Downtown Pittsburgh. Our trip was a museum trip. We plannned on going into Okland to visit the Carnegie Natural History and Art Museum and to the Northside to visit the National Aviary and Warhol Museum. We were able to take the bus to both of these places by getting on a bus at a stop about 2 blocks from the hotel.

“Close to everything”

Good location, and free parking to hotel guests, which is nice since free parking is not abundant.

“Nice hotel in great location”

The location is adjacent to Pittsburgh's cultural "Strip District" and many interesting shops and restaurants and only a few blocks from downtown. The facility is nicely designed to conform to the surrounding architecture and very clean. Highly recommended for business travel or an overnight in the Strip District or to see the Steelers, Penguins or Pirates.

“Great location if your going to a Steelers game.”

I would recommend the Hampton Inn for someone who will be visiting the Pittsburgh area. The hotel was clean, affordable, comfy and the staff was extremely friendly. If you are heading to see the Steelers football game it''s a nice walk to the stadium. There are several restaurants located on Penn Avenue which is approximately two blocks away from the Inn. Another great perk is that you don't have to pay for parking in comparison to other hotels we looked at charged a huge fee. When I return to see the Steelers play, I would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn.

“Excellent Stay”

The staff was very friendly and offered a great deal of help with getting around the city. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance of all the major attraction. In all this was the perfect hotel to stay in while in Pittsburgh.

“Very pleasant stay”

This hotel was great place to stay being that it's in the downtown core and close to the shops and restaurants. The employees were exceptionally polite and quick to help with anything that you might need. When approaching the reservation desk there was a very polite lady named Tamesha. She was real cool and made you feel welcolmed with her laughter and cheerfulness. If you get a chance to enjoy the breakfast buffet, make sure you give a shout to a man called Rome. He was great too. These two people really stuck out in my head and gave the hotel a feeling of being home even though you weren't. The room that we stayed in was very spacious and quiet. We would stay again in a heatbeat.

“Good stop in PIttsburgh”

Located near the hockey arena, hotel is fairly easy to access despite some construction in the vicinity. Security parking is provided. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is provided and there was a reasonably good offering of food to satisfy most eating preferences.
