Comprising three towers set on a hill overlooking Interstate 279, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh - Green Tree is situated in a business district four miles southwest of downtown Pittsburgh.

Rivers Restaurant and Lounge - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast options include an extensive buffet with hot and cold items including omelettes, bacon, pancakes, assorted breads and pastries, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, and juice. Lunch and dinner menus feature classic American cuisine, including salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, seafood, and steak. Wood paneling and Art Deco fixtures. Lounge open mid-afternoon through evening.
Market Snack Shoppe - Casual dining option with pizza and deli items. Hours vary, depending on hotel occupancy rates.
Tiki Hut - Poolside bar serving burgers, hot dogs, beer, and soft drinks. Open seasonally.

This hotel features an indoor/outdoor pool with a connecting wall that is opened seasonally, as well as a spa tub and sauna. Cardio and weight equipment are available in the on-site fitness center.

“Great hotel”
My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights because the Phillies were in town. Great service and the warm cookies upon check-in were nice. The rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also, enjoyed the shuttle service. They take you basically wherever you want to go and will come and pick you up. It's only ten dollars for a round trip ticket. Also, the pool and the whirlpool are clean and very relaxing. I plan on staying here again.
“Nicest stays I've had in a while”
I had heard the hotel was under renovations so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was quite pleasently surprised. The lobby area was very clean and nice. The room was extremely nice. The beds were some of the most comfortable I'd slept in in a hotel. I was also very impressed with the service of all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant to the maintenance staff. There was a slight problem with the heating system. I mentioned it to the front desk staff. The maintenance guy was standing there and said what he thought it was and would come right up. It was an easy fix so I told them I'd do it myself. I did, it worked and I was a happy camper. The maintenance guy still called me 10 minutes later to check to make sure the problem was resolved. Housekeeping was very thorough in cleaning the room each day. They didn't do a quick run through but cleaned each day. I found if you had a question about anything, like how to find something in town, you could ask any one of the hotel staff and they were happy to help you. I travel a LOT and I have to say this was one of the most pleasent stays I've had in a hotel in a while.

They offer a cookie at check-in.The hotel accepts pets.We have a 18 pound dog,we checked in with.The linens are great,along with the toiletries.

Not much to share. We only stayed one night. The best part of the stay was the chocolate chip cookies.
“I would go back”
Well maintained and attentive staff. The food in the restaurant/bar was very good. Prices were what you'd expect. I found it odd that they did not have a gift shop so if you forget anything, you need to go to a store. I liked the location. It was quiet and a quick drive to downtown Pittsburgh.

First time staying at a Doubletree. Very pleased with the experience. We will absolutely stay there again.

Worked out really good for me. Had business at Station Square, no problem going to and from. Really good breakfest bagel shop and pizza (Marios) close by.
