“Dont stay here!”
Poor atmosphere. Room was half underground with small plexiglass window near the ceiling. Wallpaper peiling off the walls. Poor lighting and even less light in the bathroom. Had to carry our suitcases up and down stairs due to no elevator. Continental breakfast was unimpressive with bad coffee. Would not recommend.
“Curry Room”
My room smelled like curry when I entered it at 2:30 AM. It started smelling worse at 10 AM, because the huge gap between the bottom of the door and the door sill allowed the odor of curry to ruthlessly invade the room from the enormous restaurant exhaust fan on the exterior wall 10 feet away from the door. The odor is disgusting.
“Worst hotel in Pittsburgh Area!”
The parking lot was not plowed. The lobby was dingy and smelled from the Indian Cuisine restaurant that is attached to the hotel. The rooms were hot the air conditioning did not work properly and smelled of urine. The internet did not work the TV kept goin in and out. The shower had 2 settings boiling and frozen and the shower curtain leaked all over the floor. The breakfast was pittiful. No yogurt, or fresh friut at all. The coffey was horrible and they only had powdered creamer. The milk was warm there were 3 kinds of cereal, No toast with jam no bagles, no pastries or any kind and the only muffins that they offered were mini blueberry and there were only a few put out at a time. I will never stay here againi and have already written to the Days Inn corporate offices.
“Not Impressed”
Room was dingy,no vent in the bathroom, smoke orders, burn hole in the bedspread. Breakfast was fair, preperation for breakfast could have been better. trash can was not emptied for several days. Over all this has to be one of the worse stays at a Day's Inn we have ever had.
“Not reall impressed”
We stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral in nearby Mt. Lebanon. The location was convenient to the Funeral home but that's about it. When we arrived the owner had his car parked in the middle of the carport (where guests usually park to check in and unload luggage) so we had to park in a parking place and carry everything from the middle of the lot without a luggage cart. ( I did finally see one the next morning but it wasn't there when we checked in.) The lobby had the odor of curry and the rooms smelled like they were damp and musty. The very worst part was the lighting (or lack of) in the room.Couldn't see anything and makeup application was out of the question. On the positive side the television was a flat screen with a good picture and internet access was free. Continental breakfast was adaquate but nothing out of the ordinary. . Would have liked to have found a vending machine since we returned to the hotel later in the evening.
