“Great place to stay when on a budget”
We found this hotel to be very affordable, comfortable and close enough to local attractions. It has a complimentary continental breakfast which was very good.
“OK for short term stay”
Room is clean but common area especially corridor to room in 2 nd floor stinks. can't bear out side of the room. Room is clean, coffee machine is there but no water provided, i guess we have to drink from sink. Staff is good but you won't see welcome smile on them in front desk but they are helpful. Breakfast is good. I stayed just 1 night. Checked in 8 pm and checked out 8 am. Asked whether they allow to check out late (As i may get late once i go out in the morning), but they said no. I need to pay for entire day if i am later than 11 or 12 pm.
“Not too great”
Bathtub is a big issue...not recommended for older people.
“Very convenient location especially if you are visiting the Hindu Temple”
Though breakfast is included, you're better off not eating it. Everything was very stale and the service was very poor.
“Overall experience was pleasing. Keep improving.”
Reading all the reviews before my check-in, I was scared to death hoping to get the worst. It was not so. The room was unusually clean, bedding's washed and ironed (I hope so). Not pleased that the corridor's were not non-smoking and a hooker was hanging around as soon as I checked in. More work needs to be done in remodeling. I didn't stay for breakfast so can't say what to expect. The hotel staff I met were nice especially the dark guy on duty. Overall experience was pleasing. Keep improving.
“"Not all Hotel expericences are bad ones."”
I had a very plesant time at The Day's Inn Monroville and would certainly stay there again. The staff was considerate and pleasant and very helpful. Knowing that The Day's Inn try to be affordable to all and especailly to those without huge bank accounts, my overall rating would be a 4.5. If I have a suggestion it would be to put the hours of the laudrymat and complimentary breakfast in each room, although the front desk did assist with some info about it.
“Old but great value”
If you are looking for somewhere to sleep and if you are price conscience, this hotel is for you.
“Very average but OK for its price”
Expedia would not give name of the hotel until I paid. Then I read reviews of other travelers about Days Inn, Monroeville, PA. Those were extremely depressing and I was concerened. In truth, the hotel was OK for its price. Rooms were reasonably clean, beds were OK. Bare necessities were provided adequately. The staff were OK. Breakfast was very basic but OK. Considering the rate, I think our stay was fine. I am unlikely to stay here again but for really budget conscious traveler, this motel is an surely an option to consider.
“not as bad as i thought it would be”
I bought this room with an unpublished rate and was very disappointed when I saw what hotel I had received given its poor reviews, but it was not as bad as the other reviews make it sound. The exterior and common areas of the hotel are not well kept. The room itself was dated, but clean enough. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. There was some white bread for toast and stale looking doughnuts. There was free wireless, which was a big plus. This wasn't worth full price.
“An affordable place to spend the night.”
This hotel was okay for one night. The room smelled kind of musty, was a hole in the bedspread and peeling paint in the bathroom. The towel rack by the sink was falling out of the wall. Appeared to be clean though and comfortable enough. It was affordable and included a continental breakfast. We were there to pick up our son from college so it was a good place to spend the night.
