The hotel was perfect. Great location right next to the Piazza di Miracoli. Staff was very nice and accomodating - even letting us check in early.

Très bien, petit hôtel bien situé car juste à côté de l'esplanade Tour penchée + Cathédrale + Duomo. S'il mettaient un pack 'petit savon + petit shampoing' légèrement plus gros ce serait encore mieux mais sinon c'est tranquille et très propre

“Good location and value for money”

we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. room very clean. great location to tower (approx 5 mins walk away). The reception staff very pleasant and spoke good english. breakfast ok, not the best but by no means the worst! waiter that was serving at breakfast looked bored and we even had to go and find him to ask for coffee although we were the only ones at breakfast. we looked like an inconvenice to him. Do not let this put you off though as the other aspects of the hotel rooms and location was perfect. would stay here again.

“right at the tower's doorstep”

This hotel has a wonderful location just steps away from the plaza where the leaning tower is located. parking is a block away, but free for hotel guests, and you can unload the car at the hotel doorstep before parking. The room was very comfortable, our only complaint was the thinness of the towels. Breakfast was very nice with fresh delicious pastries and breads, sandwiches, cereal and coffee and juice. We were very happy with our stay.

“Ideally located for Pisa main sites”

The hotel was cheap, clean and cheerful, I was in a basic single room which was fine for my one night stay.Breakfast was just fruit juice and croissant but eaten on a sunny roof top terrace overlooking the Baptisterie was ideal.The receptionist was very helpful in giving simple directions.The hotel's location couldn't be better.

Excellent location, cant ask for more.Lovely room and good service.They must work on their breakfast because that is one think preety low standard.Overall very happy.

“Difficult to find but worth it when you do.”

Going into Pisa from the airport there are lots of signs for hotels but we found it difficult to find Il Giordino. We asked several people for directions to Piazza di Manin and no one seemed to have heard of it. This was surprising as it is right in front of the entrance through the old city wall to the Leaning Tower. Although there were lots of people in the Piazza from early morning to late evening and market traders, the windows were double glazed and we heard no noise at all. There was a nice secluded terrace off the breakfast room where you could sit and have coffee. Continental breakfast included. Staff were helpful. We had asked for a non smoking room and this was not the case. The smell of strong disinfectant and cleaner did not disguise the smell but after a day of air conditioning and opening the window it got better. Depsite being advertised as an Art Hotel it was very bland in the room we had and walls were chipped and marked but the bed was comfortable.

“Excellent Location”

Great location right outside the main gate into the Piazza dei Miracoli with the tower, cathedral etc a few steps away. Drawback of that is that it was quite noisy outside with street sellers, restaurants and a main road. However for 1 night and the chance to 'do' the piazza it was perfect. We requested a non smoking room but the room we were given was clearly a smoking room, however the receptionist quickly moved us when we complained about the smell.

“Excellent locaiton”

LAM Rossa bus from the airport drops you directly outside this hotel by the Piazza del Mirocoli- the sight-seeing centre of Pisa. A roof terrace gives a view of the Baptistry dome. Room are comfortable and clean, with the added bonus of modern artwork on the walls - a welcome change from mediaeval religious art that pervades Tuscany. Breakfast croissants are fresh, warm and very tasty
