This is an idyllic hideaway for adults to escape into, yet the vibrant world of Phuket remains easily accessible beyond its doors.Deluxe Rooms are located in a 3- storey building set on the side of a hill. “Lovely experience”
The hotel is situated on a lovely hill and is thus set back from the noisy streets. It is private and lush with greenery. The pool is lovely and I especially liked my rain showers when I upgraded my room. The shower in the previous room was piddly to say the least. The food variety was great, however I found it a little too commercial. All in all a wonderful stayed where I was well looked after by the staff in every way.
“Excellent service, friendly staff”
Visited Phuket and found this hotel, it's family friendly, stones throw from the beach with free tuk-tuk to and from the beach and a free shuttle bus to Patong beach (saving 400B each way), situated at the posh end of the beach but only 20 mins walk to other end, fantastic.
“I would definitely return”
Karon Beach location was perfect. Was glad not to be staying in central Patong, bit to hectic for a family with young children. The location was quiet and 200M up a steep hill which was ok as the hotel provided a tuk tuk service to get to the main road. The hotel staff were great and the service was excellent. Buffet breakfast each morning was a good start to the day, the variety was huge. The two swimming pools were perfect, especially the pool bar. My parents stayed in the Privilege Club which was superior with it's own swimming pool and no kids allowed. They too, were impressed with the room and service. Overall I would recommend this hotel and the location and I would love to go back as soon as possible.
“Affordable Luxury with the Biggest Buffet Breakfast”
Fantasic resort which was modern and luxurious. Many nice touches such as fresh flowers throughout the bedroom and bathroom, free cocktails. Amazing service and huge buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were so impressed that we stayed there twice. Would strongly recommend if you want to be near the beach but out of the tsunami zone as it is on a hill with a free tuk tuk to and from the beach below. Loved the swim up bar too. You can spoil yourself even more in the privilege club. Very good value for money compared to other resorts we stayed at. The local beach (Karon) was very clean and is patrolled. Make sure you have a massage on the beach. Didn't like Patong Beach at all and many others we met on various tours we did didn't like staying in Patong.
“Honeymoon spectacular”
Wonderful hotel that always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Friendly staff and great facilities. We stayed in the delux wing for our honeymoon and it was absolutely beautiful. They decorated our bed and brought us fresh roses. The food service was the best we experienced. We will definately return.
“Great Place - if you wanna stay away from Patong”
We (guy & gal aged 35+) stayed at 2 hotels during our first visit to Thailand (5 nights each), and this was our favourite! Located at the quiet end of town (ie. not in Patong) it is set in lovely surroundings at the top of a hill (we often walked to and from main street of Karon - the climb was fine for our well walked legs - others may prefer to use the tuktuks conveniently located at the bottom of the hill). Best price is with these guys, as the hotels tuktuk may cost more. All tours we booked were quite happy to pick up from here, although depending on where you are going (direction) you are normally first or last picked up. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - we really missed the choices offered here after moving to our new hotel not too far away. The service was great, and the food tasted amazing - plenty fresh fruits, and hot meals, etc. Nice setup also. We had a ground floor room with pool view - a nice way to start or finish the day. Only downside was that the pool closed early (7pm?) - good for peace and quiet - but some times getting back from a full day tour with the temperature still up there, it would have been nice to jump in the pool for a cool down. It seems this place is well liked by aussies - and we can see why. It is a well priced, clean and quiet option (we stayed early novemeber so basically half price). Would we stay there again - absolutely !!
“Great resort. Definately would go back!”
I would highly recommend this hotel, our rooms were always clean. The staff always say Hi when you walk past, they were very nice. This hotel situation was the best, we travelled to Patong but it was good for the day but we thought was too busy to stay there. The beach at Karon was much nicer than Patong beach. The hotel run a great service that takes you to and from Patong as scheduled times, which is really great if you dont want to spend the money on a tuk tuk. The markets are the bottom of the street are great, we found the best shopping there, better than patong and phuket town. You can also hire scooters right next door at the bungablows for 250 baht ($8) great price!!! The hotel itself has everything you need, daily breakfast, internet service, gym, the two large pools were great! The pool side bar and they have adapters so no matter where your travelling from you can use your appliances and dont need to purchase one. They give you new bottled water daily which is great. Food at the hotel is a bit pricey. If your looking for a great meal there are many restuarants on the main road down the bottom for a better price. and there is a pancake man at the bottle of the hill who makes very yummy pancakes for $1! Some people see the hill to the hotel a problem, the resort do offer a free tuk tuk service down and up the hill is this bothers you, you can call them from the bottom of the hill. My partner and I didnt find it a problem. It was too bad of a walk.
“Superb”
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast menu were scrumptous. Very accessable to neighbouring area like Patong beach, shops and market. The free daily shuttle bus service to and from the beach and to Patong is great.
“GREAT WAY TO KEEP FIT”
Beautifully presented gardens and pool and surroundings. Prices in Restaurants and food, especially the variety at breakfast ,was fantastic. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Internet and coffee lounge with airconditioning was a great way to spend time while waiting for pick-up. Rooms were great, especially the bath - bed could have been a little softer, although not complaining. Only down on whole experience was the hill climb to the Hotel, although the hotel does provide a free schuttle service up and down the hill, with the beach just down the bottom. "Great way of exercising"
