“Great Place”
My Family was very happy with this hotel. The rooms are so quaint and in the most beautiful setting, nestled into the jungle. The service and cost of restaurants and bars was very reasonable. The only thing negative I would say is that if you don't get around well there are a lot of steps to climb. You can of course dial for the complimentary shuttle. If I go back to Phuket I would be staying here again.
“Stunning hotel”
This was one of those little gems that you never seem to be able to find! Fantastic location in between Patong and Karon, wonderful villas overlooking the sea, a restaurant worthy of a place in any gourmet's guide and staff that were so friendly it was unnerving! Do some time at the spa too, just try not to bore all your friends once back home about the place...it'll become like all other resorts. Don't go if you like bustle, do if you love style and comfort for a price that is frankly ludicrous!
“Fantastic Location away from the main tourist area”
Perfect location away from the bustle of Patong Beach, but close enough indulge if you wanted. Scenery, villa and staff - fantastic. Rooms are really quiet with lovely balcony to enjoy the view. Not for the unfit as the Villas are built on the side of a hill and there are lots of stairs to and from either the pool or the lobby, but tuk tuks are available if required. Walk along the beach to Karon or catch a tuk tuk to Patong.
“great hotel”
The hotel was excellent value for money. Food was very good, great choices for dinner and breakfast buffets. Travelers need to be aware that there are many steps at this hotel between reception, restaurants and the swimming pools, as well as the access path to the beach.
“Amazing Place”
Centara Villas impressed from the start. Exceptional service, very friedly staff willing to help. Room was neat, clean and comfortable. Food (especially the 'western' food) from the restaurant left a bit to be desired and for Thailand thought it was overpriced, yet there was plenty of places to eat down in Karon Beach outside the hotel. I would definately return to this hotel though and recommend it to any others looking for a private villa away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach.
“We were impressed with Centara Villas”
Villas are set on the hillside amongst the trees, so we felt secluded and the neighbours were some distance away. It was great to hear the sounds of the jungle, and saw lots of lizards/butterflies/birds. Our villa consisted of a large bedroom and bathroom; our only slight complaint was lack of comfortable chairs in the room and the bathroom had no a/c. Otherwise very good standard of accommodation, cleaned every day. Pool is in beautiful setting, with walkway to Karon beach open during the day. Some beach bars at the end of the walkway for lunch. Lunch at the hotel was more expensive but good quality, good service. The Spa was excellent, as you can hear the trees and sea during your treatment, it's a great setting for relaxation! The hotel was quiet in the evenings, the bar/restaurant was usually closed up by 11pm, maybe due to the time of year. Easy taxi or tuktuk ride to Karon, Kata or Patong for evenings out. Overall, as a couple looking for relaxation but some nightlife, we were very happy with this selection.
“Great hotel for couples”
Great hotel for couples, out of the way but close enough for a short cab ride to either Patong or Karon. Food was just "ok" and very little available for vegetarians, lots of better options available in the local towns. Staff were great.
