It is different but in a good way very clean ,no sad faces always smiling awesome atmosphere traffic was busy after first night did not notice next door too shopping centre 10 mins walk from Bangla Rd .

Room description is misleading
The room does bothave a separate seating area and the room size is exaggerated with incorrect photos of the room. The hotel is near the main shopping center mall, but also next to the boxing stadium which can get noisy at nights.

The hotel is well located beside a big store, however it is situated inside and above a restaurant. The corridor of the hotel is dim and room lights are not bright. Budget hotel but can get a better hotel w the same price

Bad location, bad room, staff needs training
At first i wasnt sure if i was gong to be able to book the room. I didnt go throught expedia so i asked the front desk clerk about room availability. She said they were booked...bs. So then i looked up in expedia and booked thw room .. which came out to be more!!! Got to my room which was a smoking room...asked to change rooms...nope! Tried the shower...trickled and did not drain. Tried the toilet....It barely flushed! Terroble experience! Never do reviews btw. Had to on this one!

Always clean and good value , food needs to come up a notch quite expensive compared to outside restaurants .. room charge for extra person 500 baht a bit much considering there was no charge last time ... security good and friendly staff

On a busy street w loud motorbikes roaring by at 6am, the bed was hard as a wooden plank. The jacuzzi tub was great, but there was no wall handle for the shower attachment, so you have to do a one hand rinse. Front desk staff was unhelpful, uncaring. Couldn't even be bothered to break a large bill so I could pay the taxi. Had to go around the corner to a fast food stand. I will never go back.

Tiger Hotel
Great location close to everything. A few blocks away from Bangla Walking street and Patong Beach. Restaurant has a lot of seafood! Continental breakfast is meh, but it was included so we ate it anyways. Rooms are spacious and clean. The lighting is a little dim in the bathroom. The only issue we had was the tub shower drained water all over the bathroom floor (it was a design flaw), there is a drain on the floor so Im assuming they know about it.

Our first trip to Thailand & glad we chose The Tiger Hotel. The staff were very helpful & friendly,especially the ladies on reception. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious & clean but could do with a bit of TLC. The hotel is situated on a busy road opposite the night market,so it's ideal for people watching,the noise isn't off putting,as you get used to this if you are staying in Patong. The seafood restaurant downstairs serves good food & is very popular as it is always full every evening. We tried various dishes & were delighted with what was served,reasonably priced too. We will definitely stay at Tiger again when we visit Thailand.

Great hotel and great location. The hotel staff rocks. Lisa, Andre and my girl Rata were so wonderful. What ever we needed they were more then happy to help you with. We booked directly with the hotel front desk staff for all of our daily excursions, much easier then going through a agent/booth. Getting laundry clean was so reasonable and done quickly. Hotel is not for the type of people that are looking for that quiet getaway, It's busy all the time around there, One minute walk to the mall, great live fresh caught seafood right in front of the hotel, Night street food right across the street, Patong beach ten minute walk, and everyone needs to checkout Bangla road at night its a different world. Staff again were the best, Definitely be back.

Overall pretty great. Right next door to the mall and just a short walk to Bangla Road and Patong beach. The room was very spacious for three people and was quite considering the busy street and boxing stadium next door. Be sure to ask for a higher level on the mall side of the building for similar quiet. The room smelled a bit weird - mix of must and chemicals. If you are tall, you will need to kneel in the shower to wash your hair and the water temperature in shower was never constant. Never ate at the restaurant, as by the looks everything was a lot more expensive in comparison to similar places. We paid a minimal amount to stay here so for what we paid, it was fantastic. Would probably not pay the full price though.

It is very convenient since the hotel is just located beside the junceylon. Furthermore, Tiger hotel provides the shuttle to go to Chang Residence. Hence, we are able to swim in Chang Residence Swimming pool. Great staffs also!! Highly recommended .

Tiger hotel is in a very good location, right next to the shopping mall and a short walk from the markets and beach. Staff are super friendly and helpful. There's no pool there but you can request to be picked up and sent to their other hotel branch which has a pool. Very happy overall! :)

Stayed here for over a week in November and would do it again. The bed is hard and the rooms a bit dated, but the location is great for the price. Also, the tiger decor, while gaudy, is also a lot of fun. If the most important things about your holiday is location, price and just having a good room to sleep in, this is the place for you.

Clean, tidy and all you need for a quick get a way to recharge or a relaxing couples retreat for the weekend. The room was clean and tidy but very small/cramped with not much space to unpack which is fine if you don't mind living out of your suitcase for the duration of your trip. The continental buffet breakfast was limited and repetitive but nice enough all the same. The Tiger restaurant at night however is a must go for a meal or few during dinner, the range of meals is expansive beyond your heart's desires, extremely cheaply priced for the quality and quantity of food served before you. I only have one thing to say about the staff and please believe that it really isn't a complaint as such, more that it's just something i have never come across during any stay in various Hotels. The staff i didn't find were very friendly or welcoming upon seeing you at breakfast or greeting you throughout the day as you enter or left the Hotel.

Noisy room
We were assigned a room facing main street which is too nosy. There is a night market on the street at night which made it worse. A Thai boxing facility is just at the corner. It's horribly noisy at night. If you are a sound sleeper, I think it is ok. The location is good and close to everywhere. The room is big, the bed is huge,but the smell is weird. I don't like it.

Horrible moth ball smelling place
When you first walk in you smell the horrendous moth ball smell . It's so strong that I couldn't sleep. I found several of these balls through out my room which would be dangerous for children to get a hold of. I read that people use the moth balls for rodent infestations which explains why I found a small roach in my room. The hotel definitely needs remodeling . Outdated and you can hear everyone in the hall ways and when they slam their door since the doors dont close easily. My clothes stunk of that moth ball smell even after I left . I hope the hotel knows that the moth balls are poisonous to our breathing . Only stayed the nights I did because I had paid in advance. Go somewhere cleaner for the same price ! It's not worth it even though it's location is prime.
