Shit 1 x nite stay - only good 4 location
Unable to sleep due too loud noise levels at 2am - too many rowdy tourist In addition, terrible customer service - staff spent b more time looking at u rudely when u ask 4 assistance..as if ur wasting their time/money & not ur own - not helpful at all especially wen ur hot & tired 😫 To top it off, power outage caused air cons to stop working... luckily it stopped the rowdy crowd playing loud music but once again, useless customer service One night of issues is enough to turn me off & check out. Hopefully The Gig Hotel is beta. This place is only good 4 rowdy tight ass ppl who can sleep thru it all

Avoid this hotel
Do not believe the photos. This is an old, run down establishment which is highly overpriced. I had paid for four nights in advance, but after seeing the small room I decided to leave. Instead of a refund I was offered another room, but having smelled the towels I found it better to just get out of there. You can find much better accommodation for similar price nearby. The neighborhood was not so nice either, but near shopping and entertainment.

The hotel is conveniently situated. Close enough to the beach and Jungceylon shopping centre. The nightly market is across the road, good for foodies.

Central location but that's about it!
This is where I wish I had done what you are doing now - reading reviews! Apart from the location (which was very central - and noisy), I cannot think of anything else to recommend this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand over the years but this was the first time I left early and found a different hotel. Staff were sullen and not very helpful, room was very average and not remotely 'superior' as claimed, main lift was broken which meant going up one flight of stairs, along a corridor of rooms to another single lift servicing the whole hotel, TV didn't work and the safe was broken (to be fair they did fix those last two things though, although the tv was so small and the channels so limited it wasn't worth turning on anyway). The swimming pool was nice however, although the bar attendant didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence as he was so engrossed in watching a film on his phone! So all in all, a very poor experience and certainly one I shan't repeat. If you have a choice, don't stay here!

As you were mentioned, some issue that impact to your stay have been fixed therefore please allow me to highlight to the noise. I'm sure that if you closed the windows and door of your room. The noise will not impact to you. Please note that all hotels & resorts in Patong Beach including RCB Patong Hotel are located in steaming hot streets, neon lights, nightlife, entertainment venue.

Totally different from what as advertised,
Old and run down hotel that photos look so much different then actual hotel. No Bathtub as advertise, no toiletries, only provide 1 badly tampered room access card & refuse to give extra card & told us that if one of us come back early they could open the door for us. Been place in level 2 room which the balcony door is spoil and the staff refuse to change the room, chairs is so shakily that might break anytime which is not safe to sit on, Having a small TV which could not even access to any channel, water heater not working at times, show us the bottle water while check in and say 1st two bottle is free but upon checking out charge us despite verifying that 1st two bottle is free they say yes but insist to charge us. While waiting for our transport to come, we saw a drink menu banner and wish to order the mocha and they told us they don't sell those drink on the banner then why not remove it?, Afraid that we lose the room access card and place it in the room so when we are back the aircon is still cooling but upon returning the card gone missing and they charge me at 500 bahts for another old tampered card, the lobby is open for public or the local to laze around so guest have to be left standing outside entrance or sit outside the cafe tables and guess what when you check out, they will charge you 150 bahts per person who sit there claiming it for breakfast. Book and stay at your own risk for they are out to extort tourists.

Good sunniness location
I been there for couple day with my friend this place have good location nearly for shopping food night street area. Friendly staff nice room swimming pool. Some couple thing can be better than that is about elevator ,,will much more better if they fix the out her one. It's hard work for me who have problem with my leg to walk up to to get the one inside. And i stay up on 7 floorings nice view have some annoy sound all the time, sound like some machine work. Anyway this hotel still being if mine that's I will return back again on next time.

RCB Patong
We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was a good size with a balcony & good size bathroom which included a bath, a rarity when we were travelling. It's close to Bangla Road the main strip & a shopping centre. It's about at ten minute walk to the beach & they do provide beach towels at reception but they don't advertise this, we realised as we were leaving!

The Hotel was OK the room was comfortable. Great location. The roof top pool was great, but the staff were terrible. You could not get a smile out of anyone on the staff. They were particularly rude and unhelpful. I was there for 10 nights and thought that maybe they were having a bad day when I checked in but unfortunately there was no improvement.

Not what Is Advertised
Booked and paid in full via Expedia for a 33sqm room with wifi, aircon, furnished balcony and bathtub. Checked in to find a dingy shoebox (bed barely fit in it), that smelt of mould and cigarettes with broken aircon, tiny balcony with old broken furniture (seemed like someone had forgotten to throw it out) and no bathtub. Went to reception and told them this was not the room I had booked. They informed me only a handful of rooms have these facilities (despite the very clear description on Expedia and their own website), that it wasn't their problem that the website was wrong. Refused to call a manager (or tell me his name), refused to change my room, refused a refund and even refused to call me a taxi so I could go to a different hotel. Sat there and openly pointed and laughing at me (standing there with my luggage like an idiot) then went back to playing with his phone and refused to talk to me altogether, "I don't care anything" was his charming response when I tried to reason with him again. Ended up walking around Patong with my luggage at almost midnight trying to find a different hotel. I don't often write review but in my extensive travelling experience this is some of the worst service I have received. Still waiting for a refund.

Cheap hotel with good location
For a cheap hotel you get what you pay for. The rooms were ok, view wasn't great, bed was hard and quite loud outside as near boxing stadium but for under £20 it was good value for money for a one night stay whilst waiting for a connecting flight. Rooms were clean. Location very good as in central part of patong and near shopping centre and good beach/

Good budget hotel
The hotel was lovely. Clean, quiet and nice. The location was away from main road. Bangla road, Bazaan market, shopping center... A bit walk to Patong beach, but good walk to see what's around.

We stayed 3 nights this time and never come back. The staff was very unpolite and do not know anything about service. It seems like the girls in frontdisk were at club. Stayed there before and were happy, but now the rooms are not good, noisy AC, Smell nad and the pour staff too. :-(((

Cheap Price, Good Quality
Compared to the price, service from hotel is more than good. Room is clean and not too small. Breakfast menu is variative. The most important is the location, very near to Jungceylon Shopping Mall, Patong Beach, Bangla Road but we didn't feel noisy in our room.

It is indeed true that the hotel's lobby area is the open air and some of the guests being the smoker therefore we always locked the spot for them. It was ok, I had fun during my stay. The manger of the hotel was vary friendly and helpful. The noise level was vary high from all the clubs near by and all the social gathering that happened after mid night everyday in the hallways. You can hear all the funny business from all the rooms next to you, paper thin walls.

I stayed here 6 nights. It is a little hard to find, it is behind the Bangla boxing. The hotel breakfast was ok (sometimes no one showed up). The pool on the roof is good. and the best thing is the hotel let me use the internet computer for free. This is one of those good deals when booking on line. My one big criticism is that like a lot of hotels they have an overstocked minibar )which included condoms), there was so much stuff I could not put my own drinks in the little refrigerator. When going to Patong be aware it is a long ride from the airport, 180B, but going back to the airport is the hard part it will cost more. The one thing I thought odd is there is a window between the bed and shower so you could see whoever is in the bathroom.

Pretty Average Hotel
Room was ok for the money. Bathrooms were dirty, the grout was filthy: My friend had a room too. Lots of rubbish in the street and parking lot behind. Pool was dilapidated and looked nothing like photos. Front Desk staff were disinterested and not particuarly friendly or helpful. There is much better value to be had a few streets back.

Good location
Staff are friendly and can understand English. Location is good as it's near the Phuket largest shopping mall (which everyone says) - Jungceylon (5 min walk) and near the night market as well. However if you purpose is to go to beach, it's quite a distance - about 15-30min walk. Previous review mentioned about noise from the boxing stadium, glad we are not affected. Like the swimming pool at rooftop, except that when it's night time, it is very dark. Not much lights at the roof top. But i like cos can view the skyline while staying at the jacuzzi. I would not want to recommend to pay for the breakfast as it's not worth. The variety is not good plus the food are cold. Overall, I would recommend this hotel (minus the breakfast)

Value for money the room was ok. However the staff didn't seem to interested and had little local knowledge. But the worst thing was they didn't seem to care much. Overall it was clean enough. The grout in the bathrooms was filthy - however this is common in most Asian hotels sub $1000
