The short break was on top of a week long exchange stay A lot of disruption due to painters in the lobby/ reception/ dining area. No meals available except at nearby resort- inc breakfast No compensation for disruption Otherwise everything exellent

Our comments reflect the fact that we were caught up in the Corona virus lock down. I would however point out that it was decided mid way through our stay to close the restaurant and bar (clearly due to poor numbers). We could use another hotel restaurant where the shuttle bus would take us if wanted! We ended up going to the Minimart and having salad bowels and ready meals. The pool and gym were also inaccessible though we could sit around the pool area. Our disappointment extends to the fact that in view of the difficult situation and worries we were faced with and the lack of amenities offered, the hotel did NOT offer any future discount or incentive to compensate for the lack of services provided. The staff were very friendly during our stay and the fault lies with Managements lack of thought for us as their clients and the problems we were experiencing. They were spring cleaning the hotel around us as though we were not there. A token gesture such as free transfer to the airport (where we were unsure if flight would leave) would have been a kindly thought but no. They charged us the 770 bhat when they are 20 mins from the airport. Customer service was lacking by the decision makers on this site!! Profit over client! Dissapointed!

Gorgeous place to stay! Amazing staff, the rooms were fantastic, quick walk to the store and quick shuttle to the beach and/or the gate to go into town. We stayed 5 days and can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in Angsana in Laguna. It’s a sister company of Laguna Holiday club resort. The rooms are big. Our room was overlooking onto the beach. There is free shuttle service within Laguna. It would have been better if the free shuttle service was run to the nearest shopping area which is only 3 KMs away. Overall good resort to relax and enjoy.

The hotel itself is a bit old and needs some updating and renovation in general. Rooms are set classic a bit of colonial style and very comfortable and cosy. We had an one bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Air conditioning is well enough both in bedroom and living room. There was a problem once with one of the AC, it was leaking and after I called to the reception, the staff immediately took care and a repair man came and worked out the problem. The kitchenette is comfortable but not for real cooking as there is no enough pots, pans and utensils. The bed is real big like 2/2 m but the mattress was a bit soft for me and the sofa bed in living room was surprisingly comfy for my daughter (11 y/o) - it's big enough for 2 kids. The bathroom needs renovation, the bath is old and worn-out, all in all needs renovation. The pool is a bit small on sizes and shallow but clean and all the children are very happy with the working slide. The pool needs repair as there are some broken tiles and facing but it's not dangerous yet. The staff is very, very helpful and kind, especially the reception staff who are very busy all the time deserve a big gratitude! Always on disposal for any kind of requests! The hotel is very clean as well the rooms as well the common parts. We would come back to this hotel as it's a good value for money and having accommodation at the Laguna Complex has a lot of advantages like inside shuttle busses transport, 24 hour security and etc.

Perfect relaxation
Laguna holiday club is a perfect place for a relaxing and unwinding. I love the easy slow pace of he place. the resort has everthing going for it. Only the restaurant food can be a little more vibrant however there are enuf choices around to overcome the gap

Quick check in, friendly welcoming staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Maintenance staff were quick to fix air con leakage. Restaurant needs more often cleaning up as its close to pool, so kids running around in wet clothes caused several damp areas and cleaning staff should clean under tables more. Stray cats have been jumping onto tables as well.

The whole Laguna Beach precinct is the classiest in Phuket. The Holiday Club is one of about 6 resorts there and though in comparison is a budget option it is still a great place to stay and a high standard of accommodation and service

Great stay but poor weather
Services were excellent, rooms were big and clean with daily cleaning. On call shuttle to bring around the Laguna area and not short but walkable to the small dining places outside.

Terrible! No return definitely!
When checked in, room has cockroaches, dust was hanging on the ceiling, floor was full of dust as well. The person at reception answered the call and said will inform housekeeping to come, but after 20 min still no one arrived, when we called again, she was impolite and said she did her job to inform housekeeping already and it’s none of her business on whether housekeeping arrives or not. I of cos requested to talk to the manager who was very helpful and helped to arrange keep cleaning for the room the day after. Second occasion was when I asked if they have balloons for kids, the receptionist said he will ask the kids club for us and send it to our room if they have any, but he didn’t do so and the next day when I checked with the other receptionists, they know nothing and asked me to go and check with the kids club on my own, when I arrived, the staff said they have balloons and pump, but I have to help myself. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an hotel.

A great place to stay. LHCR is a smaller complex compared to the other hotels which suited us more. Rooms are well maintained and kept very clean. Staff are friendly, food is satisfactory and LHCR is well positioned for the beach and also the town close by. A free shuttle bus is provided. Hope to return 👍

I wouldnt come back here
Room is so far away from the lobby and pillow have old water smell. and Next morning I was locked out of my room for an hour. I can understand lock can be broken but it took them 40 minnutes to show up while I was waitimg in front. and it took them 20 minutes to open the door.

There are lots of options at Laguna as there are a few hotels on sight. There's a shuttle bus that takes you near the local shops, restaurants cafes and massage outlets. If you want a quieter place than Patong then this is for you...!

horrible hotel! stay away.
the room was dirthy and moldy with a strong stench. terrible condition. Exposed electricity. We just wanted to get out of there but it was not easy. Were told to talk to Expedia where we booked but it was imposibble to get them. After a whole day of arguments with hotel staff and managers we managed to get a refund for 3 nights, got another room a little more clean for the 2nd night and credit for the amount of half a day stay. Lost a day of our holiday and had a lot of aggravation.

One of the worst hotels I have ever been to!
One word, terrible! I can't give a full review cus they only allow 1500 words. Breakfast is terrible. Service is terrible. All food is terrible, you will end up hungry. Boring, this hotel is only for sleeping. Look somewhere else!

With pros and cons, overall is good.
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds, with escalator so don't need to take stairs, frequent shuttle bus to the gate & around the area (we went to Friday night market at Boat Avenue which was great) Cons: Pool too small and it closes too early One more problem is that the hotel hires child worker. I saw a little boy working as a cook (egg section) during breakfast time. I have no idea about the labor laws in Thailand so I don't want to judge, I understand that working in a hotel is way better than working in a sweat factory if a child has to work. I just didn't feel very comfortable when I saw him.

Good value for money
Good value for money for a short stay and if you are on a budget. We only stayed here as we just needed a hotel for 12 hours for our transit. If you are looking for a longer and more comfortable stay in Phuket, I would pay up a little bit more and go for its sister hotel dusit Thani which has a much nicer swimming pool and other facilities.

Perfect retreat for family travelling long haul
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our two children aged 1 and 3 and were amazed by how big it was. It had everything we needed to cook/prepare food for our fussy 3 year old and had plenty of bottled water provided every day for us. The beds were super comfy and super sized which was handy for jet lagged children as they could climb in with us. The staff were amazing, brilliant with the children and helped book us restaurants that provided courtesy pickup/drop offs. The free bus that takes you around the other resorts and to the beach is a big bonus also as is the free boat service. The only disappointment was the food. We had dinner there on our first night as we were too tired to go and find anything else, and although the menu wasn't huge it had things for both adults and children but the childrens meal (chicken dippers) came out so over cooked that they couldn't eat it at all and the thai dishes my husband and i ordered were nice but not amazing. I think the kitchen/restaurant had launched a new menu the day before we left so hopefully that it is an improvement. The pool was a good size for us and our two small children and they loved the water slide. Just be careful around the poolside as the dark tiles get extremely hot (not good for bare feet or crawling kiddies), and also around the toddler pool there are some wobbly tiles and some very slippery ones that could do with upgrading. All in all we had a very relaxing stay after a stint in the UK as a stopover on the way back to NZ and would recommend it to those travelling with children as the room sizes are just superb.

I had a short stay and was upgraded, the staff were lovely and it would have been a nice place to hang out, a lot smaller than the Dusit Thani where we had been staying previously. I assume it would be quieter around the pool, the elephant fountains were nice.

Reception were always happy to help, whether it be calling a local restaurant and organising complimentary transport or just assisting with a bottle of water, they are always smiling and extremely happy to help.

Very comfortable hotel
This was my 3rd stay in 4months.Everything about the hotel is great .Buffet breakfast not large,but ample food available including omelette station.The staff are so friendly and very helpful.The pool is smallish but very relaxing over looking the golf course.The beach is a 5 minute walk away,or you can catch the free shuttle bus.There is a group of shops and lovely restaurants just outside the laguna compound,excellent massages around $15.00aus dollars,two great supermarkets and coffee shops.i will definitely be staying here again

Big room, nice surrounding but no shopping
We were there for the Phuket Marathon, where the hotel location is consider near to the flag-off spots. The room is very spacious with bedroom separated from family area and there is fully furnish pantry. We even cooked simple dinner and breakfast, after the tiring marathon run. But there were nothing around the hotel, other than nice park across the road. We did not use the hotel shuttle as we rent a car.

Relaxing family holiday.
My family and I spent 2 weeks at this resort and loved every minute of it. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The free shuttle bus is a bonus as you can explore the immediate areas around the resort. The only suggestion I would make is to have more of a variety at breakfast.

Very nice hotel and family friendly
A very nice hotel for family with kids or baby. Kitchenette is nice however just one cooking pot and one pan is not enough. I was very disappointed when I request just one more cooking pot but wasn't available in a such big hotel. Overall the shuttle service is nice and well connected within Laguna area and convenient. The beach is beautiful, clean and quiet. Amazing ! The staff there is nice and friendly
