The property is set in beautiful surroundings. Very steep and hilly which is not for everyone. Need to get picked up by property’s Tuk Tuk to reception dining and pool. We stayed near the pool so that was easy. The difficult and dangerous part is access to the beach from the pool. There are a lot of uneven steps and limited railings. We loved being there had easy access into Karon Centre at night for 200bht lots of yummy restaurants and market.

We loved our stay at Centara Villas. We had the King room with private pool, views were stunning, room was very clean and comfortable bed. A small amount of maintenance would make this property 10/10. We made a small request and maintenance was at our room within ten minutes for the repair. Staff went above and beyond, friendly service. The food was exceptional. A path to the beach makes Karon beach easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Property needs to be repaired and updated lots of wear on the property. Staff were excellent though, very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was just okay. But the meal we ordered from the restaurant for dinner was very good. With a little TLC this property could be amazing.bed was quite comfortable.

Amazing view!
We had an amazing view from our room. Room condition was okay, not the cleanest. The staff are friendly. Unfortunately you need a shuttle from room to lobby, not convenient.

This property was a real hiding gem. First it setting in a garden like area with the beach adjacent from your room. The staff was very friendly especially Shopper at check in. I can’t remember the other staffs name from the front desk but they were extremely pleasant as well. One of my most favorite things about this property was the breakfast buffet! Wow it was so amazing and had several things to choose from. The only down side is that the rooms are a bit dated and the shower curtains looked moldy. However, we had the pool villa so we didn’t really care about that. Overall this place was great, I would definitely stay again.

this is our third stay ,I love having breakfast overlooking a panoramic view,their is a nice pool and a short walk into karon via the pool,i had a massage and facial which was heaven down towards the ocean so peaceful this time we had our own spa with the view on the front deck would strongly recommend regards david and kathleen kennedy

Beautiful and quiet hotel
The room was super comfy, and inexpensive. The location is not convenient so you need to take a taxi to the tourist site or some other restaurants if you don’t drive. I still recommend this hotel, beautiful and quite.

Very nice staff, can't give cleanliness 5 stars as although it was good overall, there were ants in the room. Bed was comfortable. View was great. Breakfast was good but needs more variety. Good location.

Excellent excellent excellent!!! We love everything about this hotel! The oceanview from our room is amazing. Each room is separated like a private villa. The service is above and beyond!! The location is on top of the hill so it get very good sea breeze. Even though the hotel doesn’t have the gym, but we can use all the facilities at Centara Grand including the beach chairs which is about 5 minutes hike. Or if you don’t want to walk, the hotel also have a shuttle bus to Centara Grand 3 times a day.

The ocean view really isn’t that great. There are a ton of stairs! It also felt really cheap that this hotel doesn’t offer a free shuttle service even to their sister hotel which is two minutes down the road. The sister hotels beach chairs are no longer allowed to be on the beach which also was a huge bummer.

Our 3rd visit. Absolutely recommend the Pool Villas. So quiet with a beautiful view of the sea. Very private. Just be aware of the amount of steps, you rely on the Mini Car service to get you to the Lobby/restaurant. Also, factor in you really need a taxi to go anywhere. 250Baht Karon, 350Baht Patong.

Very Peaceful villas
This villas has a very beautiful landscape, Amazing sea and trees view, quiet, peaceful, very relaxing! We only use a pool near Spa, it s a fantastic great size pool surrounding by trees, there is a shop selling drinks and order foods near the pool, it’s quite hot in afternoon, would be great if the villas provide free ice and drinking water at pool, over all it was fantastic stay, staffs are very nice and friendly. we will definitely go back again.

This property is beautiful, however you do have to climb MANY stairs to get around. There is a little walk way to the beach about a 10 minute walk to the town from the beach. Only complaint was there was a old room service food tray from previous guests on our patio that we could seem to get anyone to take away. We were only there for about 2 nights so wasn’t bad. Wasn’t my favorite hotel, but good for price.

OK for the price - staff are exhausting
This villa style hotel must have been great back in the day. Today, it is clear that Centara is putting no extra investment into this property. They seem to cut back at every turn, whether it is bathrooms that have rust drippage on the walls, lack of properly stocked rooms upon check in (we had no towels, for example, and when they brought some they only brought one for 2 people), or staff levels that leave you waiting 20+ minutes for the shuttle up the hill to the lobby (we waited 20+ minutes more than once during our 5 night stay). The bones of this place are great, but it clearly is in need of some tender love and care, and the staff do try hard but don't quite cut it (I think it's a management issue). When we checked in our room wasn't available for the first night so we had to stay in a different villa the first night then switch after that, which was very annoying when you just want to check in and relax. The views are very good from their restaurants and from most ocean view villas. However, some of the "ocean views" are more peeks than anything. All in all, this place was available and affordable when we booked it (during the very-busy Chinese New Year period) so I guess our experience explains why. The positives are that it is very close to Patong for night life and Karon beach is fairly accessible (5-10 min walk). all in all a 3 out of 5.

Was a lovely hotel on the hill near Karon Beach among lovely greenery. The villa was lovely in location but we were a little disappointed in condition as photos online seemed very modern and clean, yet ours was in need of an update. We are active and a good thing as villas, pool and lobby all a steep climb on stairs. The track down to Karon Beach from villas was an eye opener and a leg workout via a not well maintained pathway and steep stairs then across rocks when the tide is out. This may have been good for us, but if unaware could be a big disappointment for the unfit, elderly or disabled. The times we needed the staff and food were great majority of the time, but a couple of issues did spoil the moment. Room service on one occasion after a long tour day didn't arrive at all. Only after we rang twice did they offer to give us a free dinner the next night. Food is over priced compared to few minutes down to town. We were unwell on one day and so put up the sleeping eye sign they hang on door to use for cleaners, only to be woken up by phone ringing to come and clean, was not happy with that. I have stayed in Karon Beach before but at a different hotel and after comparing, must be honest and advise that these villas need a big overhaul in condition. Still enjoyed most of holiday here though.

The property was beautiful! Centara Villas is built around the cliff of a mountain side. Villas boast an amazing ocean view. I would caution there are many, many steps to climb on the property. The lush gardens filled with butterflies and geicos was breathtaking. This property is a nature lovers dream. The crashing waves can be heard from your villa as you watch parasailers go by.

Top of Heaven stay in Phuket
I have choosen Centara Villas Phuket after I have early check out from another hotel. First I arrived at reception as I have met with all staffs on their smiling faces, a porter went to escort the suitcases. The check in was very smooth, the welcome drink; cold roselle juice begin served. Luckily, there was room available​ at the moment therefore I have checked in to the room in the reasonable time. The way to guest room has provided the mini truck service up/down the hills. The room was fantastic​ SEA view from the top of heaven hill. In room amenities were well set up and up to Centara standard, however the television signal doesnt work as regulary and the freez does also not working, at the point i called to reception desk so their staff went so quickly to solve the issues; all is solved smoothly. The beach is located about 10 minutes on walk over the hotel part, there are a connecting beach with Centara Grand Karon beach: the hotel beach couldnt access, due to the stones conditions. In the afternoon provids the Bay View restaurant with the great sea and pool view, prices are reasonable and so yummy; i would recommend Mango shake. In the evening time, I enjoyed the pool before heading to the Sea food dinner buffet at Cliff restaurant where is located near by the reception desk(same as Breakfast room). I get the special discount 15% for dinner as per pre book terms. Breakfast so varities and it would call an international buffe

Second time here. Very quiet location. If seclusion and relaxation is what you want, this hotel, especially in the Pool Villas offer you privacy, and wonderful views of the bay. The staff are all wonderful and will do anything for you! Hotel villa needs a bit of renovation and love, however the bed and pillows were very comfy, the sun beds were also comfy. I suggest a bathroom modernisation and revamp the rooms decor. Little bit dirty in areas (not the cleaners fault, but someone more superior should be checking the rooms, monthly, for little fixes to be done in between guests. Food was fine, breakfast varied but very much Asian which is great for me, but others may feel a bit put off. Good location away from Patong and not too far to Karon. Taxi service was great. Use them! Good rates and friendly. Perfect 2 weeks of relaxing. Rainy season in June, but we had one storm the night we arrived, and then a huge one the day we left/flew home. So 2 weeks of perfect 38c heat (very humid weather though, everyone including locals were soaking wet with sweat!) and mosquitoes everywhere. Be prepared.

Beautiful view. Very relaxing. 15 min walk to karon. Great shuttle to (only one way) patong or karon. 2 times only daily.

The most misrable people in Thailand work here
Staff just wanted to sell evening buffets, Food very poor breakfast lunch and dinner. being charged by the hotel bus even though it was going down to the grand. extra bed was something out of an orphanage. Not enough sun beds orotund pool. were there for 10 days for to long. villa in much needed maintenance. View incredable

I was extremely happy when I saw the beautiful ocean vista from the hotel's lobby. After a very intense travel through Southeast Asia, it was high time to relax for a few days in a serene place like this. The villas do not look very encouraging from the outside, but are comfortable and very nicely finished inside. The bathroom was clean and modern too. I had an ocean-facing villa and this was a great choice, can't imagine having a different one now. It was a pleasure to sit outside (or even inside) and admire the calming view. The beach is quite close, after a few minutes walk through a little forest you end up on a beach. In fact, it's the very outer point of quite a long beach - meaning it is not crowded (blessing!) and that much commercialized with water sports etc. To me it was a huge advantage. The city and grocery stores and many restaurants are within 30min walk through the beach - not too bad. The only thing I disliked were the resort's restaurants - that's why I am posting the 2-star rating for the facilities. The food quality was pretty low, I even got food poisoning after my last dinner there, which of course was extremely uncomfortable during the long travel back home. I couldn't have imagined getting food poisoning in an upscale restaurant in a 4 star hotel before, but unfortunately it did happen. The dessert was pretty awful too. I did like the live music event they hosted, breakfasts were also decent (better than menu-served lunches/dinners).
