“Desert Paradise”

We were looking for a very low key place to stay and we found it. Villas at Cave Creek was everything we had hoped it would be. Our room was clean and very quite. They are basically condos. We had a private patio with a hot tub, large living area, very comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. The pool area is nice but can get a little crowded. Cave Creek has many wonderful restaurants and the scenery is spectacular. Everyone at Cave Creek was very helpful and I must applaud them for and outstanding job!

“Look no further!”

2nd trip to The Villas of Cave Creek, but definately not the last. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well kept. The Villas are beautiful and clean, and are equipped with everything you need. The location is quiet, yet only minutes from restaurants, shops, golf and many other available activities. If you're planning a trip to Arizona, this is the place to stay!

“Home away from home”

Big two story room in a very quiet setting. Even with the pool just outside our front door we never heard a sound. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only thing I did not like was the bed size. The master bedroom should have a king bed instead of a queen.

“Enjoyed it.”

The Villa was impeccably clean, well maintained and reasonably well appointed. Some of the furniture was a little "tired" but overall in good shape. The bed in the master was quite firm but very comfortable. The televisions are smallish and the cable service limited and spotty (some channels very noisy), but there are three of them. The master bath is shared with the living room via a second door. Both baths are functional but by no means luxurious. Towels were plentiful, but the toiletries were downright awful. Dial soap (try washing you face with that stuff!), Breck shampoo and some kind of lotion that I did not pay attention to. The "resort" is not really a resort per se. There are two smallish pools in a nicely maintained courtyard, a barbeque area and a small workout/game room, but that's about it. The hot tub on the back patio was a nice touch, though I thought it a bit odd that there was no patio access to the pool/courtyard (for the two bedroom units - it looked like the larger ones did have access), but walking there from the front was no big deal. By the way, the washer and dryer are tucked away outside off the patio. Evidently that's par for the course down there, but it took a bit on hunting for a yankee greenhorn like me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is quite scenic and a great jumping off point for outdoor activities. Lots of dining in the area. Parking was easy and plentiful. If you get a good deal, don't hesitate.

“better than we expected; extremely satisfied”

A perfect location for our needs. Spacious and could accommodate the several people in our party. Nicely decorated and well maintained. With family in the area, we will be back.

“We will be back!!!!”

We loved everything about our room - it was decorated beautifully, it was HUGE and it was in a great location at the base of black mountain and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a great villa, located on the end of a unit. We got up early every morning and had coffee on our private front patio and watched the bunnies, coyotes and tons of birds. We used the private hot tub on the back patio in the mornings and in the evenings - watching the stars. If you are going to be taking a trip elsewhere in the state - this is a good central location, but Cave Creek and Carefree themselves are worth a visit. The hotel staff was great - check in took mere seconds and they called later in the week to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. We can't wait to return.

“Would definitely go back but at a cooler time of year”

After reading all the positive reviews of the place, I can say it was all true. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The condos were clean and well maintained. These units are two story condos that has fully equipped kitchens, hot tubs for each unit. If you want fresh towels, garbage taken, or other standard hotel amenities, you just need to let the front desk know. You are within walking distance to a handful of shops, and restaurants. We drove just a little bit from the condos to a grocery store to stock up and the people there were friendly too. You forget you are so close to a major city, which is what we wanted. Driving into Scottsdale to do some shopping was maybe a 15 to 20 minute drive. We had to go at this time of year but if we are to go back it would be when it is not in the 100's for temperatures. Loved our stay there!

“Great north Phoenix escape”

Great escape from Phoenix just 45 mins north of the airport. Beautiful cactus-covered hills and colorful local shops and restaurants. Hotel is nicely maintained and the units are fully fitted for a short or long term stay. Front desk staff was super nice. Would definitely stay here again.

“Remarkable Dessert Relaxation”

We enjoyed the relaxing stay we had at the Villas of Cave Creek. The condo had everything we needed to have a comfortable "at home" vacation. The area is beautiful. This was our second stay and we look forward to returning.
