Property Amenities
Scottsdale is the place to go for art, shopping and nightlife in the Valley of the Sun. Now there’s a hotel creating even more desire around the desert experience. The Saguaro has arrived, bringing with it a new look to where Old Town, the Arts district and Civic Center Mall meet. Bright, lush and vibrant, it’s a fresh face amid Scottsdale’s buzzing downtown scene.
If Scottsdale is where the old west found its modern groove, the Saguaro sits at the main intersection. We’re next to Old Town, the historic quarter where cowboys meet the cutting edge. The resort overlooks not only hitching posts and saloons but the Civic Center Mall, a 21-acre urban park home to the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) and the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The ever-trendy Scottsdale Fashion Square mall isn’t much further.
A stay here is about relaxation, nature and yes, our two famous pools. Both are easy walks from every room, heated and ringed by cabanas. The Saguaro Spa welcomes you to de-stress you even further. When it’s time to recharge, the comprehensive fitness center will get you looking your best for around the poolside bar.
Room Amenities
Rooms
The Saguaro experience begins, fittingly enough, outside amid the arid weather and brilliant sunlight of the Sonoran Desert. Each room exterior is accented by the color of a native desert flower, creating a visual spectrum throughout the resort grounds. Inside, your room’s primary color is joined by contemporary and natural furnishings in wood and leather, including hand-crafted pieces imported from Mexico.
Stetson City View
The rooms on floors two and three offer at least 325 square feet of space and include step out balconies with views of Old Town or the Civic Center Mall. Choose from several bed types options or The Balcony Suite which includes a roomy interior with sitting area, bedroom and a soothing bath that includes a deep soaking tub & separate shower.
Picante or Calma Pool View
An exclusive, convenient balcony suite overlooking one of the two pool areas and its lively scene. You’re close to the pool but not immersed it. Enjoy the view and desert ambiance and jump in when you’re ready.
Chaparral Garden View
Located on the resort's ground floor, this selection of rooms features furnished patio areas that connect to pathways leading to the Saguaro's two pools. Choose from the several bed types options or The Patio Suite which includes a roomy interior with sitting area, bedroom and a soothing bath that includes a deep soaking tub & separate shower.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is held every January in North Scottsdale and is the most-attended stop on the PGA Tour.

“Sherry from Flagstaff”
I loved this hotel because of the beauty of the resort, fabulous staff, beautiful pool area, cool toiletries, great location in Scottsdale, and a super fabulous gym. I will be back!!!!!!
“Funky, boutique hôtel - highly recommended!”
Funky, relaxing, playful and welcoming. Beautiful pool area, great bar with outdoor fireplace - romantic and "hip" all at the same time.
“Perfect downtown location”
Perfect place to stay at if you are going to see the Giants during Spring Training. The hotel is a few block within walking distance of the stadium. It is also located in downtown Scottsdale so all the restaurants and nightlife are within walking distance.
“Retro chic a big hit”
The retro chic design is really fun. My 10 year old thought it was coolest hotel we'd ever stayed in and I have to agree. The staff were all friendly and eager to assist. The location is phenomenal. This hotel is a must for anyone who wants to walk around Old Town, go on the Artists Walk, or has any interest in interior design. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
“Loved it!!!”
We could not have loved our stay at the Saguaro more! The hotel is lively and fun. It is a feast for those interested in design. The food at the restaurants is wonderful. The pool, absolute perfection and the staff so very friendly. The location is within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, there are even golf carts and pedi-cabs to take you a little farther. I am already thinking about when we can stay here again!
“Great hotel”
For the money there is no better value in the Valley. The hotel is decorated very well. The entire staff is top notch The current rates are based on the fact that it has just reopened. Soon these rates will be MUCH higher.. As a full time traveler, get this value while you can. No matter, at any price this hotel will stand with the best
“Great price, great location, great pool!”
They were still working through a few opening month kinks but overall the hotel was very comfortable, well-priced, in a great location near Old Town Scottsdale, great workout room, with two beautiful heated pools. I would definitely recommend it!
“AMAZING Place in heart of Scottsdale”
Location is fantastic...Pool was amazing...Food was delightful....Rooms were great!!! all in all this place is worth every penny for quality and location. Close to shopping for the ladies, and Golf for the guys!!!
“OUTSTANDING!”
This hotel/resort experience was one of the best I have had! The Saguaro is wonderful in every way. From the hip and trendy ambience within the hotel, choice in atmosphere between different pool areas, retro decor in the rooms (also THE best mattress I have slept on!) themselves, to the delicious food and drinks, this is by far among the top hotels! It was a perfect getaway for some rest and relaxation. So impressed, I decided to write a review, which I typically do not do. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!
“Saguaro”
Incredible food, great rooms, very friendly staff, and a great value if it was twice the price. Right in Old Town Scottsdale. Love it and Can't wait to get back.
