“Good value in Mesa”

Clean hotel even though a little bit outdated and a little noisy as it is located right of highway. Frendly staff, good value for the price.

“Decent hotel”

Half decent hotel. Stayed for a week with my wife and 8 and 6 year olds. Room was clean. Hotel in general is showing small signs of age, but still in good shape. We enjoyed our stay.

“Super 8 is great”

We have stayed here many times. The location is great for us, the Native New Yorker restaurant across the street is GREAT and the price of the room is very reasonable. It is not a fancy place but for the price it is just fine. The breakfast is the usual cereal, sweet rolls, coffee and juice. All in all, if you need a decent place to stay/sleep and dont want to spend a lot of money in the Mesa/Gilbert area, this place is for you!

“Fantastic for the price”

The location was perfect for our needs. A clean small pool and jacuzzi. The layout of the facilities allowed some privacy, plus the entrance to the office and parking were off the main highway although the property is at the corner of Hwy 60 and Gilbert rd.

“Pros and Cons”

The staff was very nice. Having music videos BLARING in the lobby was a little offputting. The shower/bath in our room (202) is in dire need of updating. It is nasty to the point of me not wanting to use it. YUCK! (But, it was clean, so kudos to the housekeepers.)

“Old and tired”

They failed to make-up our room even thought we were gone for most of the day. The carpet is old and badly in need of replacement. The elevator was dirty, and has never seen a cleaning cloth. Breakfast was spoty (some items missing) one day of our visit.

“Awful Experience”

When we first checked into the hotel, we receivevd a room that was already occupied. We were then provided a bigger room, however the room seemed rather dirty. The soap dispenser was broken. The furniture was broken. The easy chair had stains. And the room, overall was disgusting.

“I was NOT impressed”

Outside well kept, looked nice. Lobby well kept, friendly staff....and then we went upstairs. Even though we were on a non-smoking floor, the minute we got off the elevator the stench of stale cigarette smoke was overwhelming. Our room was worse, the smell was awful and that is coming from previous smoker. Our room was tiny and there was not even a bedspread on the bed!!!! I don't use the bedspreads, but I thought it looked tacky not having one in there. We found clothes left in the drawer so obviously housekeeping did not clean well if there were clothes left there. The continental breakfast was nothing more than bread items (bagels, muffins, toast) and dry cereal. I was not impressed!
