The hotel is impeccable and the Staff is attentive

Posted 7-Jan-2015
I had to travel for a wedding and I brought my Mom along. She is wheelchair bound and the Staff was extremely helpful in many ways. The grounds are amazing and the Casino and Outlets are a short distance.

Beautiful scenic atmosphere

Posted 24-Dec-2014
Pros: walking/jogging trail excellent - gym facility large with new machines and everything available 24 hours a day at the Aji Spa which is included.
Cons: small lobby bar opens later in the day so people go to the golf club for lunch or drinks earlier if they are early risers and doing activities early
Location: Casino, Golf, Western Town and Restaurant all close by and shuttle service. Equestrian Center will pick you up with reservation
We enjoyed our stay immensely despite the fact that Expedia did not inform us in advance that the main pools were being refurbished during month of December. The Aji spa pool was open and beautiful and we were lucky there weren't many guests taking advantage of it during stay. Food was excellent, room service amazing and quick, everybody exceptionally friendly. We walked the 2.5 mi integrative trail every morning before breakfast. Shuttle to casino and western town & restaurant very convenient so we were glad we did not rent a car for the week. Equestrian Center wrangler very friendly, try it. Pools were completed while we there and we will come back in a few months to experience entire resort as it should be.

Spa was amazing

Spa was amazing. I was disappointed that the pools were not open but ended up working out because they let you use spa pools!

Lovely Hotel

Posted 1-Dec-2014
Pros: Gorgeous grounds, perfect golf courses, spa and workout facility were 5 star.
Cons: The food - very, very salty and the service in the restaurant was sloooooooow. I was expecting much better.
We had the best experience until our last day. We booked an extra day at the end of our Thanksgiving holiday stay so that our 8 year old son could enjoy the pool and water slide, which was scheduled to close Dec. 1st. Imagine our disappointment when we woke up on NOVEMBER 30th, and saw that THE POOL HAD BEEN DRAINED!!! Super, super, super disappointed little boy... When we asked about it at the front desk we just got LAME EXCUSES. It was especially disappointing given the 5 star quality of the rest of our stay there. :( With that said, the rest of our stay was fabulous and we will be back. We especially loved how dog-friendly it was, since we travel with our 10 year old chocolate lab. But I will definitely be confirming in advance the hours of the facilities.

Strange smells

Posted 26-Nov-2014
Location: DO NOT got to Rawhide. Read a lot of reviews about it and it was disappointing! Food was ok but very dirty inside and run down.
There was a very strange smell in the lobby of the hotel. NOt sure if it was the large water feature or what. But it smelled like very strong carpet cleaner and disinfectant. Not pleasant! Coffee place (Starbucks) on lower level consistently ran out of breakfast items. Pool side service was good and the staff organized fun games for the kids-bonus!!

Pros: clean and comfortable
Location: We booked this hotel because it was near the venue for a concert we were seeing.
Quiet, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the serenity

Huge slice of heaven in Arizona!

Posted 28-Oct-2014
Pros: I like the way they respected the Native American culture throughout the resort.
Location: It is only 16 miles from the airport. There is a casino right down the road. We climbed the mountain that looked like a camel.Lots to do!
This was my first trip to the West. I absolutely loved Wild Horse Pass (the Sheraton)! I loved everything...the room...the food..the staff...oh so helpful. The pool staff..jumped hoops for folks, they couldn't do enough for you..concierge...found us directions to emergency care that we needed. My thoughts are if you don't like it here ...well then you are way too picky as they treat you like royalty.

Short staffed

Front desk great. Bell staff short handed. Causing confusion with parking
