Better than being at homne is a stay at the Journal Center Hilton. They treat you better than family.

“Excellent Hotel in an Excellent Location”

The pictures in Expedia don't show you how good this hotel looks. Everything in this hotel is brand new. You have tons of shopping and restuarant in walking distances.

“Out of the way but worth the effort.”

We travel several times a year from Calif to El Paso and then return. We specifically stay at the La Quinta chain because they are pet friendly and we travel with 2 very well behaved dogs. Never a problem at La Quinta. I decided to try a different inn a little out of the way off of the I-10 up at Scottsdale. Just a variety and had some traffic problems getting up there. This is one of the nicest La Quintas we have stayed at and I am glad we made the diversion. I will definately look forward to staying here again as long as the price is right. Very happy with the visit.

“Good motel in Scottsdale near Wright's Taliesin West”

Very comfortable and clean motel with good breakfast buffet, within easy drive of area attractions around Scottsdale, including Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West. Many restaurants and shops nearby, too.

“A great choice in Scottsdale”

I stayed two nights while attending a conference taking place at a much more expensive hotel. The rooms are spacious clean and bright. The hotel offers free wired internet access in the room (which means I could not connect though my iPod) and free wireless internet access in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast includes breads, rolls, oatmeal, do-it-yourself hot waffles, juices, coffee and tea. People worrying about the freeway noise might want to ask for inside rooms. They are very quiet and have a pleasant view on the hotel garden. The hotel is located across a nice shopping center with a Barnes and Noble, a Marshall, a supermarket and plenty of other stores. I would definitively go back there if I have to stay in Scottsdale.

“Excellent could have been superb!”

This is a quality hotel! Comfy, spacious rooms. Continental breakfast to die for with many, many choices for every diet.Attentive staff. Our only areas of concern was when checking in the room was booked as SMOKING and we were given a non smoking room. This was changed, but not without the comment that we were "lucky" they had a smoking room left. "LUCKY!?!?" Our only other area of concern was the tiles of the spa were stained and although the water appeared to be clean, it certainly didn't invite guests for a relaxing soak.
