“Great quality for the price!”
Everything was excellent except for the fact that we received a room with a handicap/wheelchair acessible shower. So when we took a shower their would be a minor amount of water that would leak on to the bathroom tile floor. No big deal, I went to the front desk and asked for a few extra towels to make a makeshift dam across the opening which would absorb the leaking water. The front desk clerk personally hand delivered four towels within 5 minutes of me asking for them.

The staff was VERY helpful and courteous. The room was clean and much more comfortable and spacious than I expected considering the low price. Free wireless connection. Ample parking. Good shower (important if you are tall, as I am). Easy access to the freeway. A little far out on I-17 but the freeway access to the rest of Phoenix was good. Only complaint was that the drapes on the window would not totally shut out the light so the early morning light came in the corner, reflected off the mirror, and into my eyes as I was sleeping.

We try to travel inexpensively so have been in many less than desireable places. However, we were very impressed with la Quinta's room, quality of service, and the included breakfast. While not a 5 star establishment (at which we would feel uncomfortable) this fit our style excellently

Was extremely pleased with the size of the room, free high speed connection and wonderful breakfast.
“La Quinta hotel Phoenix Arizona located on Gateway Highway off the I-17”
After a late night arrival in Phoenix we were to be booked at the Ramada located on Cactus Avenue. We arrived and were informed that the hotel staff neglected to book our room. A thorough search revealed that they had in fact received the request from Expedia and it was an error on their part. They could not accommodate us because they were booked to capacity. The hotel staff was apologetic and were sensitive to our plight. Contacting Expedia we were then moved to the La Quinta hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. There was a problem with the necessary confirmation fax that was needed from Expedia for them to use to be paid for the room. By then it was 1:30 in Arizona and 4:30 EST and needless to say we were exhausted. The staff informed us they would continue to get the information from Expedia and it was no longer our concern. Our stay at this hotel was great due to the quality of the room and the hotel staff. We recommend this hotel to others. As I said this one is located on Gateway Highway, there are others in the area, so I'm referring to this particular hotel. We really appreciated their helpful and courteous attitude.

Hotel was reasonable priced and offered everything we needed. Very comfortable and convenient to get to.(excellent access to I17 and 101) Breakfast was good each morning and we were very happy with service. Would certainly use them again.
