I rarely stay at b-n-b's. I'm not a fan of their usual old-timey decor or inflated prices. However, ZenYard is anything but a traditional b-n-b. The price was reasonable & I was able to book hassle-free through Expedia. The owner texted me when the room was ready, although I was busy doing a Zen retreat in the wilderness. I purposefully rented the small room since it was cheaper. It faces the pool and was perfectly comfortable after a week in the desert. Nice pool. FULLY stocked honor bar. When I asked about a special tea I like, they got some out of their personal kitchen. I felt like I was staying at the home of a friend. The owners retained the library amassed by the former owner (a holistic health nut) and I paged through a few books before bed. Though I was traveling alone & am a budget traveler, the owners made me feel comfortable. They are apparently going through a lot of red tape to make this an eco-friendly b-n-b. There was a sudden monsoon rainstorm on the day I arrived. Just like that, the place became incredibly magical.

We stumbled upon this beautiful and secluded resort situated on a hillside in Fountain Hills, AZ., on the Expedia website.
In August, we felt that we had the place to ourselves and really enjoyed the tranquility!

Came here for my friend's wedding in Glendale. Campus is very pretty and gives the impression more of a small college (it is) than just a hotel. There are some great open areas, clean landscaping, and a saltwater swimming pool. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean and nice. One of the few places I've been to with towels that are still soft and don't feel sand-papery. There is a YMCA near campus where you can work out; guest passes are available at the front desk. Also a couple of good bars within walking distance.
One of the best things about this hotel is complimentary beverages and snacks. You can go into a small kitchen area whenever you like, and it's stocked with many granola bars, chips, pretzels, and a wide variety of sodas a sports drinks (and water). Saved us a lot of money on snacks and kept us hydrated in drier weather.

The Wigwam was very clean, the staff was very nice and always trying to help. The Room was always clean, only thing was it didn't smell very good. The patriot golf course was nice, the sand was hard as a rock. Overall experience was excellent
