“Great Value & Customer Service”
I attended a conference in Scottsdale and the host hotel was much more expensive and there were many complaints from conference attendees about the host hotel. I was lucky as I stayed in this nearby Holiday Inn Express and was really glad. The price was much lower and the staff here is excellent, offering to help and making me feel welcome. I found the 'happy hour', cookies & milk and free breakfast above and beyond what most hotels do. It made me three day stay quite pleasent.
“Good value”
This hotel is well situated for the Art Walk and other Old Town Scottsdale activities. Easy to find and good parking. The bonus is the free shuttle to anywhere you want to go within a 3 mile limit....very handy for shopping, and the Desert Botanical Gardens. The shuttle is also complimentary to/from the airport. Breakfasts were great, alot of variety and very tidy.
“Awesome Value”
The location, the rooms, the facilities and especially the staff brought us back to Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale. Hope they take the"green" choices further when they renovate (ie low-flow showers, recycling bins in rooms), Close to Fashion Square, Old Town Scottsdale, wonderful restaurants and easy access to our business stops. We will definitely be back again and again.
“Friendly and helpful staff”
Great staff! Kind of annoying to have to share the elevator with cleaning staff. But it was a great stay. They offer free happy hour, warm cookies and free breakfast in the morning. Very nice!
“A gem”
On the edge of a group of cheap hotels and also near several expensive hotels is this gem. The young ladies at the desk were pleasant and knowledgeable! The business center was open 24/7. The free wifi in the room was exactly what I needed. The free breakfast featured those warm cinnamon rolls as well as many other things, including cranberry juice. I hope to have reason to go back. And I may even create a reason to go back.
“Keeper, for that part of Arizona”
the breakfast and happy hour was a plus. everything was in bloom during our stay. cacti are like orchids, each with their own unique flower. Scoottdale Botanical Gardens is a "must see" for those unfamiliar with the various desert habitats. It was 94 degrees, with a 72% chance of road rage - I hate Phoenix.... Sedona is beautiful, but lacks true spiritual beings....
“Great location, clean, comfort”

“Great Hotel”
This hotel is great all the way around. It looks nice, is clean, and our room was very comfortable. I especially loved the beds and the generous fluffy pillows (four pillows on each Queen bed). The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet features a little bit of everything. The pool area is a gorgeous oasis--when you sit back there you'd never know the hotel is situated on a busy road. There are palm trees and flowers and we felt like we were in the tropics! The hotel's shuttle is a great convenience. It's free and will take you anywhere within a 3-mile radius (including to and from the airport). The location of this hotel is great, too. It's about a 10-minute walk from Old Town Scottsdale, which features tons of shops and quite a few trendy restaurants.
“When's the next vacation?!!”
Great customer service, very friendly staff and helpful. Loved the look and feel of the environment, especially for the price. The rooms were great, very clean and big, beds were comfortable. Love the idea of multiple televisions and couch for comfort. Surprised that there was a microwave in each room. Overall very happy with decision to stay there! Would definitely stay again and recommend hotel to friends!
“Will probably use this Hotel is I ever get back to Scottsdale.”
We really enjoyed our stay. We were treated very well and the Hotel was clean, neat and we had a lot of room in the room. It was larger than I expected.
