“Great hotel, location, price and breakfast. Would gladly go back!”
We stayed here over a non-holiday weekend in August. Our son plays ice hockey not far away and we liked being close to the rink, restaurants and mall for the weekend. We spent much of the weekend either at the rink or in the pool. Great hotel. Breakfast stays fully stocked (we ate before 10am both days) and great selection of fruit, muffins, toast, make your own waffles, etc. We're looking into staying here again for our next hockey tournament! Yeah! Room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children - that's a true luxury and we were treated wonderfully! Sometimes the higher end hotels don't cater to children. Marriott is always amazing with kids! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Toilet was not flushing well went we first checked in, but a staff member came up with a plunger and all was well afterwards. We ran out of towels, they provided extras right away. Really couldn't ask for any better!
“Great experience”
We were very pleased with our hotel stay.
“Arizona vacation”
The hotel staff was wonderful, they were always friendly and telling us to enjoy our day,evening,... The breakfasts were great, what a variety, waffle, eggs;hard boiled, sandwiches, yogurt, juice, great coffee . Sam who oversees the breakfast area was very helpful .
“Phoenix Gem”
the staff was friendly. The morning breakfast was great. The room was clean & comfortable.
“was fine”
was nice, new and clean and close to food and shopping
“Used for conference trip - very nice”
6 floors, indoor corridors. Hotel would be rated a 5 if I had the standard tub/shower combo rather than just a stall shower w/no seat and only a tiny shelf for amenities - !! Bathroom on the shabby side. AC way too cold - need a better system. Staff extremely knowledgeable, helpful, efficient. Free continental breakfast; no restaurant, although the Marriott actually connects to this hotel and that does have a restaurant (did not get a chance to try it). Can walk to mall, but wouldn't recommend it; however, hotel operates courtesy shuttle on the hour between mall as well as nearby Hilton. WiFi connection runs through hotel Web site - couldn't use w/Kindle touch, but OK w/devices that accommodate Internet browsers. Would definitely recommend/use again, but next time I'd ask for a room with a tub and be better prepared the overly aggressive AC fan. Note: approximately 17 miles from PHX - taxi cost from airport is in the mid-$30's before 15% tip. Yellow Cab takes credit cards, my driver was wonderful.
“Nice place to stay”
Hotel was nice. About 3 minutes from the Chandler mall. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the mall, it leaves every hour on the hour. Hotel was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Comp breakfast was good. We liked this hotel and would recommend.
“herbert”
This hotel seems relatively new. Hotel personnel seem new and dis-organzied.
