“Excellent overall experience”

Excellent overall experience staying here. I’ve been coming to Phoenix to visit family for the last 5 years and this is the best hotel experience I’ve had in that span. I was allowed to check in a bit early, the front clerk was really courteous and helpful. The room was nice and clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and had four pillows each. My son said he slept really well the morning after. The breakfast was the best part. We’re not talking about cold cereal and hard bagels. This breakfast was fully stocked with waffles, coffee, juices, cereals, yogurts, sausage & egg muffins, fresh fruit, bagels, and more. The staff kept bringing more if anything ran out. We didn’t get to try the pool but it was nice to know it was there. The only suggestion I would have for my room was to upgrade the A/C unit, it was a bit noisy and I’m a light sleeper. Otherwise everything was great it even prompted me to write this review. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it.

“Not a bad place to stay”

The workers were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. The bed was comfortable and pretty clean. It was hard to pull in from the road and the elevator smelled like chemicals. Overall, very good.!

“Very friendly hotel/will return”

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. They told us of their amenities, including their breakfast, which was a very good hot buffet. Their cookies were delicious. It is in a nice quiet part of town but very near freeways. We had an enjoyable one night stay and wanted to return on our way back to Phoenix, but our plans changed so we couldn't this time.

“North Phoenix”

Good value for the price I paid, friendly front desk staff, good breakfast. Just off interstate in a sea of auto dealerships. No surrounding restaurants, but I drove east a few miles and found a shopping area with a grocery.

“It was an excellent value!”

We arrived unannounced for an early check-in and the person at the desk was very willing to accomodate us. The room was very clean, of good size, and had all advertised amenities. The person at the desk later checked in our travel companions in an adjacent room. We didn't eat the breakfast, but checked it out and the dining room was very nice and the food selection was very good. The location is a bit difficult to access even with GPS navigation since it looks like to are entering the I-17N. You stay right and double back through a strange driveway. Entry would be better off Bell Road, but even that does not appear straight-forward.

“Convenient Location (Once you find it), Close to Shopping & Highways”

As other reviewers had warned, this Hotel can be somewhat hard to find when you drive up for the first time. The driveway is tiny and is unmarked as the Fairfield. The upside is that once you find it, it's very conveniently located with shopping on Bell Road about a mile away. The room was clean and ready for the guest to settle in. The room included a microwave and a small fridge. It was the coveted room beside the elevator and I was afraid that might be noisy, but it was perfectly fine. The morning breakfast spread was perfect to start the day as I stayed one night before driving up to the Grand Canyon. Great Value, will repeat if I have the opportunity. The hotel does not have on site laundromat, so that feature should be deleted from the hotel description. They will do laundry for a fee.

“Interesting location”

The service was quick, with no surpriseds once we got there but finding it was a bit difficult. The phsical address is not where the entrance to the driveway is located. We actually went passed it several times. We finally called the hotel. The woman working the late night shift was very helpful in directing us to the correct driveway that was only a few blocks away. The area is mainly businesses and some light industrial. Our stay was short and the room was great.

“Hotel Stay”

The place was good to stay at. The staff were all very friendly. They could definitely use exhaust fans in the bathroom/shower.
