Pros: The thing we liked about the hotel was location. It was convenient to several good places to eat.
Cons: The biggest thing to improve is the breakfast. It was VERY limited in selection.
Location: Good!
It was OK. Somewhat noisy at night. The condition of the room could have been cleaner.

Nice Room- clean and good amenities/

Pros: Nice size room for a four day stay. Downstairs as requested and they put us in a downstairs room.. This was pretty important due to health issues.
Cons: The bed was a little hard.
Location: Good places to eat very near.
We came to Phoenix for a dr. visit. Had an issue with the ac. Staff was great about this. Manager on duty gave us a few options on what they could do to remedy the issue and followed through. The only compliant I had was the bed was pretty hard. But the property was nice and clean, and the staff did a good job.

Went bad from check-in.

Pros: The location with easy access to the highway.
Cons: More conducive to visitors to keep those visiting.
Location: Great location, however, there was quite a few other hotels in the vicinity.
Me and my wife had a queen bed reserved, whereas, the room wasn't available after flight with about 2 hour wait. We was given a double bed (small and uncomfortable for my size), as well breakfast consisting of doughnuts and coffee. We were booked for two nights and there was no housekeeping, unless you stayed for a week.

The staff and I read your comments about your stay with us. I am so disappointed that our housekeeping services were not explained thoroughly. Extended Stay Hotels provides housekeeping services based on a guest’s length of stay. Housekeeping services are provided once a week for guests who stay eight nights or more. For guests staying less than a week and for guests who desire additional housekeeping services, we offer the opportunity to purchase full housekeeping or refresh services for a nominal fee. In addition, we always offer upon request, complimentary exchange service at the front desk for items such as towels, bed linens, and soap. We will use your comments to coach our team to provide better communication of our services in the future. I also want to apologize that we did not have your requested room type available upon your arrival. We continually work to improve our hotel, so I really appreciate you providing us with your feedback. I do hope that you will return to our hotel, or any other Extended Stay Hotels location in the future.

Cons: All the things mentioned above.
Location: There are no complaints in this area at all. It was a great location.
We were disappointed with our room compared to the pictures we saw and the reviews we researched. Perhaps it's our fault as we didn't know what type of accommodations Extended Stay America offers!. We were very disappointed that there weren't even hangers in the room and we had to ask for them. There also wasn't a coffee maker or any dishes. After the fact these were easily provided as long as you went and picked everything up at the front desk yourself. Our room smelled really stale and damp. Our room wasn't well stocked with toilet paper! All-in-all, it was most disappointing for us and we won't be booking with Extended Stay America anywhere else! I'm sorry to have to say this as we aren't hard to please folks!

I appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. I sincerely apologize that your room was not correctly stocked upon check-in. Rooms are cleaned and inspected daily, so it is disappointing that our staff members missed these items. I am also disappointed that our front desk staff did not inform you about our new standards for our fully equipped kitchens. All items are removed from the rooms, cleaned and sanitized for each arrival upon request. Please accept my apologies. In response to your feedback I will be coaching my staff on better communicating and clarifying our hotel policies. The staff and I appreciate your comments, as it will only help us to improve. We do hope you will choose to stay with us again so we can have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience.

Very poor Hotel

The rooms are noisy and they did not even have any hangers! The iron didn't work and leaked on my shirt staining it.

Could not get a good nights sleep !

It seemed as someone had entered our room upon leaving in morning. We left again and left the light and TV on and once again returned to our room to find the TV and light off. When we questioned management they brought up a device to see if anyone had entered room. The desk clerk could not get it to work so the female manager on duty came up to our room and attempted the same with no luck. We also pointed out there were napkins on the other side of the bed that were not there before as well as a pair of black boots at foot of bed. She blamed it on room service and said she would let us know about key reader issue next morning. We went to bed uncomfortable not knowing if someone had a key to our room. We weren't offered another room nor were we ever contacted again by the manager regarding this incident. One other note - helicopter flying over hotel with search light seeking criminal didn't help either. Never again !!

I received a copy of your review, and wanted to take a moment to respond personally. I sincerely apologize for the maintenance issues you experienced during your stay. I also want to acknowledge that it is simply not acceptable that housekeeping missed a pair of boots under the bed when cleaning the room, and that management also missed them when inspecting the room. To uphold our company’s high standards, I will be retraining our staff to better inspect arrival rooms as well as having maintenance check and make sure all card readers are working.
