Hotel close to alot

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: The location
Location: There were lots of restaurants, a shopping mall down the street, just lots of things to do.
This hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and the location was great. I think the only complaint I have is it is near a freeway and it's noisy. I guess living in a rural area spoils you and you notice the noise more. Overall though, the price was excellent. Didn't stay for the breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Good for a over night.

Friendly front desk agent. Clean room, a/c functional, dead lock would not engage. War mush water for showering and no coffee for " free breakfast" and one small muffin left at 8:30am. Over all solved the "where am I sleeping tonight issue" but maybe not a long term place.

The staff was nice but not overly helpful. We checked in late and they were really nice about it, but when we asked questions about the area they knew nothing, said they were not from the area. When I complained about the room smell and toilet issues the guy just said he'd let engineering know, no apology. The room smelled like rotten melons and bad plumbing. And the flusher on the toilet got stuck every time it was flushed. We went out and bought a bunch of products to help deodorize the room- helped a little.

A night at Extended Stay

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Pros: Nice room.
Cons: Less than 1 MB download speed? I clocked it at .8 MB. Even the extra charge for speed yields 2 MB Free breakfast is just granola bars?
Location: No issues.
A nice room. But I did not know that the I needed to ask for kitchen supplies had to be done before the office closed at 10:30 PM. I opened a can of tomato sauce with a screwdriver that was in my automobile. Then realized I did not have a fork to eat with. I called the office, and they decided to give me a fork.

great deal, better than expected

Posted 9-Jan-2015
Pros: location, kitchen
Cons: another exit and entrance. It is hard to get to. Also, there is ANOTHER EXTENDED STAY SUITES across the street. Differentiate somehow.
Location: As for nearby restaurants, I recommend Cracker Barrel (across the street) and Arriba Mexican Food a couple blocks away. Their happy hour is the best
I had read some mediocre reviews and didn't expect much. But we had to admit it was nice and a great location. Check in was slow with 2 ahead of us. But the room was very nice. Not a Hilton or even a Holiday inn, but much better than Motel 6 and a great deal. 2 queen beds, nice bathroom (clean), and a kitchen with table for your computer, etc. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and stove. All were nice. True, you had to go to the office to get any silverware, dishes, etc. Also, they don't change sheets/towels/etc. until you've been there a week. But that is the point of EXTENDED STAY lodging. People had complained about not having daily maid service. If you need new towels or sheets in the middle of the week, just take the old ones and trade at the office. Breakfast was nothing much. Coffee (no decaf), apples, oranges, small cereal bars. Also oatmeal available. But most extended stay motels have no breakfast at all. Overall, this was a good place in a good location. I felt safe, the room was not fancy but fine.

Everything was good except the staff who were either too new to know what was going on or were clueless. Not much help. Breakfast items ran out an hour before the end of breakfast and the staff not seeming to care.

Overnight Stay

Posted 5-Dec-2014
Pros: I liked the hotels easy access to I 10 and the quality for the cost.
Cons: Nothing on this visit.
Location: The hotel has easy access to I 10. Further to the east on Chandler Avenue, there is a large mall with quality stores. Intel offices are nearby.
All the staff that I met were clean, well dressed and friendly. The room was clean, adequately stocked with soap, towels and everything appeared new. The king bed was comfortable. I found this location to be quiet and had a restful night.

Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: The rooms were not clean and housekeeping never came to clean my room each day
Location: There are plenty of places to eat and a movie theatre close.
My experience was good with the staff and that was about it. The room was awful and no housekeeping and a big insect problem. very untidy and filthy. I would not recommend to stay here and they need new management who cares about how their hotel looks to travelers.
