When we arrived we were told the room wasn't ready and told to return in 30 minutes so went to dinner and returned about an hour and a half. When we returned the clerk wasn't there, a sign hanging on the desk said he was out helping another guest. He did not return for 25 minutes and said he was with the police on site. Not a good start. The room was fine although we had trouble with the front door not locking properly. We smelled something odd when we got close to the bathroom and discovered a to go bag from Burger King with a partially eaten burger stuck in the cabinet below the sink. I liked the cost and the access to I-10. We'd stay again but will check all the cabinets!

I am also disappointed that our front desk staff was gone for so long upon your return. I apologize if this made you feel insecure about your stay with us. I would also like to apologize that your door lock was not working properly, and that your room was not cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been.
