“Beautiful views and rooms, Quiet retreat”
The resort is a great getaway if you are looking to relax and unwind. It is very quiet so not the place to go if you are looking for nightlife. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and the service was excellent.
“What a lovely place to stay!”
My father and I came down to spend a week at the Mayo Clinic; after being at the Clinic all day, it was just wonderful to return to the hotel. I just loved the fireplace in my room. The main restaurant, Alchemy, is stunning, with incredible views, especially when it's warm enough to open the glass sliding doors. We appreciated the adults-only pool. My only semi-complaint is that b/c the hotel is small, the spa staff is freelance and it was hard to find mutually agreeable times for their services. I had a nice facial there, but they couldn't find someone to do my nails.
“CopperWynd: A Perfect Retreat”
I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at CopperWynd Club and Resort. If you're a tennis player, you'll find the facilities first-rate and the staff helpful and friendly. My hat is off to tennis pro JJ Brooker. His court time was among the highlights of my stay. My only complaint was maintaining a consistent temperature in the room at night. Otherwise, it was perfection!
“Wonderful Small Hotel”
Copperwynd Resort is a very small hotel and spa situated just outside the "hustle and bustle" of Scottsdale in Fountain Hills. The rooms have all amenities, including fireplaces, and wonderful beds with a view of desert, mountain and the "Fountain". The hotel restaurant, Alchemy, is open for three meals and is very good...worth a trip even if you don't stay here. The spa is lovely, with a well trained staff. Grounds are lovely and lavishly landscaped. Only problem was a very weak wireless internet signal. If this is important, demand a room close the to lobby. Staff tried to help and did not charge us for this service.
“Beautiful, quiet area.”
This is a beautiful, "botique" style hotel with amazing views, ammenities, and a terrific program for exercise -- all free to guests. We hiked every morning, the staff was extremely helpful and will definitely go back.
“Very nice!”
My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and loved it. The room was very comfortable and clean. It's a bit out of the way so would recommend it if you want peace and quiet and aren't looking for an active night life.
“You get what you pay for!”
Exceptional all around! Worth every penny. We would definitely go back. Location was beautiful and close enough to everything. We highly recommend for a relaxing, leisurely time.
“Lovely, laid-back”
Small, intimate tennis lodge with beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurant, fantastic view; but right in the city. Non-sports amenities limited.
“Can't Wait to go Back”
This hotel was amazing. I was very impressed with the facility, especially the intimacy of the resort. It was a little bit of heaven in the desert. This was much better than staying at the larger Scottsdale hotels. There was a bit of everything at the CopperWynd: tennis, golf, spa, fitness facility with classes, great restaurant, comfortable bed, etc. Concierge was excellent always helpful in recommending things to do in area or recommending restaurants.
“super hotel”
luxury in north scottsdale. great service, loveley grounds that are being expanded. would definitely stay there again. Kids "Club" is a single room and kids don't get taken outside. This was the only weak point that i saw.
