“not my choice, but a good choice”

it was a lovely hotel, with very nice staff. but in my opinion, there was nothing to justify the hefty price tag. i've had experiences just as nice that have cost me much less.

This is a centrally -located and well-staffed hotel and service is quite efficient and friendy. It does feel dated, the finishes are nice, but wearing. The rooms are fine - big enough, with comfortable sized furniture - but are a bit bland and the overall "feel" of the hotel is stuffy/old. It would be nice to be able to use the in-room refrigerator for personal items. It would be nicer if internet service was faster and less highly priced. The new "green program" is not well-executed at this hotel and often seems to result in staff confusion about whether the room should be/was refreshed or not. The room cleaning is certainly not exemplary - but the state of the room is not bad enough for a reasonable person to complain about it either.
