We just spent a weekend here. It was the perfect location for exploring historic Philadelphia - mere blocks to places like the Visitor Center, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Christ Church, and so many other historic sites. The building is an older, historic building but has been remodeled into a very nice boutique hotel. Rooms are small but well laid out and we wanted for nothing. Clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. The only down side - and we are being picky here - is that parking is located about a block away and there's an extra fee for it. The good news is that we parked our car when we arrived and never needed it again until we checked out since we were so close to everything.

this hotel is great for the money. It is on the outskirts of the historic part of Phila, but close to museums. It is not difficult to walk to the historic part of Phila, but takes about 30-40 minutes. There are buses and taxis.
