“Huge comfy beds and nice atmosphere”
The staff willingly accommodated 4 of us on a shoestring budget in a deluxe room though we paid for the extra breakfasts. The beds were huge for 1 person so we could comfortably share however, if you paid for an extra bed, there would be little space to maneuver. Heard about the mosquitoes so we put up the net for one bed but there was little need for it. In fact the bites we got all occurred outside the hotel grounds. Breakfast spread was more than sufficient. Only problem we faced was the lack of beach deckchairs from Canary. The next door's hotel's beach was much emptier but we were shoo-ed off as we were not their guests. Luckily we did not have much time to spend on the beach.

great value for that price. excellent breakfast, wifi-internet signal not so strong. beach, pool and location is OK for a silent weekend
“Average and comfortable”
The hotel was fine, the staff friendly and polite, rooms were spacious, clean most of the time and ease of access. The breakfast had very short duration and food was not replenish soon enough for guests that were just arriving.
“Horrible Staff”
We arrived at Canary Resort and were placed in a room right next to the construstion area. On the other side of our wall there was so much noise we couldn't hear each other speak. We went to reception asking to be placed in another room, the staff were not helpful, they didn't look at us when we spoke to them. They said they had one other room available which was the same price as ours. When they showed us the room it was literally under a staircase, had no shower curtain of door, just a showerhead in the bathroom and no window in the room. We said we weren't happy with that and they told us they couldn't help and if we wanted a different room we would have to pay extra. Unhappy with this my friend and I were returning to our room when they suddenly changed their minds and decided to upgrade us free of charge to a room in a different area (as they should have done immediately). The staff were continually unhelpful and rude. We booked a bus to Ho Chi Minh through the hotel. We confirmed the departure time with the staff at the reception desk the night before. The morning of our departure we received a phone call telling us that our bus would be leaving half an hour before we were told. We raced to reception missing breakfast only to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes waiting for the bus to come. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, facilities were good as was breakfast. BUT the unhelpful and unpleasant staff totally ruined our experience at the hotel.
