“This was our second stay, Exceptional place to stay.”

The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfasts every day were good. The hotel is nicely located to travel in all directions for day trips.

“Fantastic incredible”

They upgraded our room since it was our anniversary. Was very impressed with staff and condition of rooms. 2 person hot tub in room was fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone. Staff were friendly and went out of there way to make our stay wonderful.

“Generally comfortable but showing age.”

Air conditioner was pretty feeble. Maintenance responded promptly to complaint but said conditioner old and needed replacing. Otherwise motel was about par.

“Very nice, clean, awkward location but ok”

The hotel was very clean and pleasant, everything was fine. Check-in was a breeze - checkout not so much. We had to leave at 5am and the clerk had left a sign saying "Be right back." Was in a hurry and stood there for a few minutes, with no sign of him/her. Who knows when that sign was put there? They could use a bell for such situations - not a big deal, but it was a bit disconcerting to leave the keys and a note and hope that was okay. I guess it was. Overall it was a very nice place and I'd recommend it.

“Ok for the price”

Hotel is showing its age, but generally clean. There was no swimming pool, but it is only a short drive to Petoskey State Park. Breakfast was ok; they have waffle makers but hardly any fresh fruit. Overall the hotel is a good, inexpensive place to stay if you're planning to be out and about.

“No refrigerators”

Most hotels now have smell refrigerators in the room but this is a $10 per night option here at the comfort inn. We had requested a single king bed but received two queens and the hotel was practically empty. The staff were friendly and the breakfast supplied was good. One negative is that Petoskey is a seasonal destination and none of the good restaurants were open as they only open for the season in Mid MAy
