The room was fine but very dusty around the edges, behind and under the bed, having booked in for over a week at a reasonable price I did not want the bother of moving so put up with it but maybe this review will inspire them to do their best and renew old carpets and furniture.
This property is no frills but, it is clean and safe. Hotel staff was not very friendly which was a little off putting. You would expect at the very least a smile, a wave, or a nod. I reserved a queen size bed but, got a full-size one; I didn't complain because I didn't spend much time in the room. The toilet pressure is very low just. However, they do offer breakfast with hot food items like pork sausage (which I don't eat) and eggs, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, yogurt etc. I would stay at the hotel again because I booked with a great rate.
We arrived at 11:30 pm after making our reservation online just 1 hour before. The reception was still open and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet considering the freeway is not far away. The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The room was a little small for 2 double beds, but we managed. Breakfast wasn't very exciting - standard USA motel faire - cereal, bread, waffles, fruit, juice, milk, coffee.
While driving home from Florida to New Jersey, we decided to stop in Virginia. This hotel seems to be off of the beaten path because you can't easily see it at night but was just what we needed after driving for 12 hours. The room was clean, comfortable and suited our needs.
There is not enough space on this paper for me to convey the amazing stay that my husband and I had coming from Boston. We were there for my nephew's graduation from the Army bootcamp and I would stay here a 100% again! From the front desk staff to housekeeping, to breakfast, to the actual beautiful room and lobby to the clean well groomed grounds I just cannot say enough about this phenomenal experience. What a blessing and a must visit.
It's hard to find a decent hotel/motel for under $60 these days. At this econo lodge you get what you pay for. Simple clean room, only slightly worn. Nice bed. Minimal continental breakfast, but you can fill up. Yeah, a pretty good deal.
Room was OK. Nothing special but trouble getting door key to work. It never really did. Bed was uncomfortable and breakfast was one cinnamon roll, coffee or machine juice. Staff did what was needed and was friendly. Hotel was cheap and OK for a brief stopover.
The site of famous battles during the Revolutionary War and the Civil War, Petersburg is home to numerous museums recounting the city’s history. In recent years, a large antique mall and other historic buildings have been renovated in Old Towne. Downtown Petersburg has also experienced a rebirth with the development of upscale condos, restaurants, and boutique shops.
