“comfort in a great location”

Many pluses: studio overlooking Claisebrook Inlet so this is a great view with easy access to nice walks; clean, comfortable and quiet room; kitchenette and bathroom modern and functional; easy to walk to railway station along river walk (we took the train to Fremantle) or half a block to the free city bus (we used the bus to go to the central business district and to Kings Park); nearby grocery and restaurants. Just a couple of minuses: air condition louvers hard to adjust so the air blows right at your head when you are sleeping (pull up the sheets); no table (the desk is OK for one person to eat at, but not for two). Overall, one of the best places we stayed at during two weeks in West Australia.

“Brilliant!”

Loved the Sebel - it was clean, good condition, the staff were friendly. We got upgraded to a room which over looked the Swan River - lovely view!

“handy and quiet in Perth”

A quiet location right on an arm of the Swan River. Easy to get to and from and although a little tired in parts the room was comfortable. Will use this again when next in Perth.

We had not been clearly advised on our rooms therefore arrived to an option not suitable, then were very blunt when 'offering' alternative rooms

“Be careful”

This isn't really a hotel. It's more like serviced apartments without kitchens. The rooms are built over a row of restaurants. If your room is badly situated, your room will be noisy at night from the patrons below and/or you might get kitchen smells. The entire on-site staff is often only 1 person. They have very limited parking and on-street parking is very difficult. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating, but they don't have much to work with. I would rate this propety two stars at best.
