“Just what I needed!”

I was taking my elderly relatives to a family reunion and had been locked in the car with the 82 year old bickering for 3 hours. Originally I had booked a queen suite at another chain across the street but cancelled it when I read about the loud train. I opted for 3 separate rooms at the Travelodge for about the same price. That way, my dad and aunt could have their own rooms and I could have some peace and quiet. The young woman who checked us in could not have been more helpful. She made sure the two old ones were on ground floor connecting rooms so they would feel safe, and she got me as close to them as possible. We were all impressed by the size of our rooms and the condition of the hotel. For the price, I don't think we could have anything better in or near Cordele.

“basic room”

The hotel is located on a main road, easy to find. The people that worked there were very helpful and gave us some suggestions on restaurants in the area. Room was small and simple, covered basic needs. I noticed stains on the carpet, coverlets and curtains, which is the main reason I would not recommend this hotel to others. The parking lot was very well lit, that was a big plus in my book. I had no trouble with the Internet, I was able to get work done quickly with no loss of signal.

“Disappointing Stay”

The "Non-Smoking" room smelled of a smoking room that had been deodorized. There were no sheets at all for the roll-away bed, only a ratty looking blanket. The water was turned off on the toilet because it leaked when turned on. The bathroom facilities as a whole were quite old. The only "Free Continental Breakfast" we noticed as we made our getaway was a bowl of Little Debbie type cookies and a bowl of very brown bananas in the extremely small "lobby".
