"OK hotel near the airport"
OK and basic hotel. Is very small but is a clean safe place to stay near the airport. Had a great laugh that while the elevator says it holds three people we could only fit two with luggage. The hallway from the elevator is so tight you can only open the doorway to one side of the hallway or the other at any given time. Had some issues with the automated blinds in our room (they didn't work so you couldn't go on the balcony easily. We also had a strange thing happen where the common hall lights (which were on a timer) would go out and at the same time so did the room lights. It was necessary to find your way out of the room in the dark and find the light switch in the hallway to get them back on. We were there for one night so we didn't bother reporting the issues. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. They went out of their way to provide help on how to use the bus to get downtown as well as providing detailed instruction son how to walk to the airport.

"Okay room"
The room was cute, with a very nice bathroom. It had a lovely balcony which you could walk out on and sit. There was a strange smell in the room, but you get used to it quickly. The WiFi connection was really terrible and barely worked. the water pressure in the shower was not so good. It was okay to stay at for one night, but I'm kind of happy I wasn't here longer.

"Good enough for the night"
I stayed here the night before an early departure from Florence Airport. The staff was phenomenal. The receptionist on our arrival provided all sorts of information to help us spend the day around Florence, even printed out bus schedules and gave us information we needed to return safely. She was excellent. The hotel itself is nothing special, but the room was clean and comfortable (small by American standards, fine for Europe). The bed was confortable and the location was quiet so we were able to sleep for 5 hours before leaving. The only thing I would do different next time is to stay in Florence near the train station rather than here. I thought I would be saving myself time and money getting to the airport in the morning, but we still had to pay $22EU for a taxi to the airport (Airport tax) and would have paid only a little less to be in Florence. However, I think a hotel closer to the downtown would have been more expensive. . .

"Disappointed Guest"
I looked the hotels pictures and rating online. I was horribly disappointed when I checked in the hotel and my room. The room was NOT the one that I saw online. Not even close! Instead, it was extremely a very small room that I could barely bring my carry-on and regular luggage. I am NOT exaggerating whatsoever; the room was so tinny with 20 inches old TV that didn't work. The bath room was nice but there was no soap, lotion, shampoo. Instead there was a liquid container that hanging on the wall so we could use it as shampoo or soap. About internet WiFi connection, you need to get password and user ID for every single device (iPhone, iPad, etc). The connection is so slow . Also, you must get new password every day. The upside of the hotel is breakfast, which is very good. Breakfast includes eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, coffee ( all kind of American and European coffees), etc. Nice staff serving you and very nice atmosphere. I really liked the breakfast part. Hotel location is conveniently located to airport. Around the hotel I found so many nice and extremely reasonable restaurants. And it is 10-15 minutes by bus to downtown area. Hotel staff are not rude nor friendly. They speak a little bit of English, which is good enough to answer basic questions. Last but not least, if you lose your hotel key, you would be charged for 35Euro or more, because the hotel is so old that it still operates with keys not card.

"Wonderful hotel, comfortable stay with great staff"
Overa experience was wonderful !! The front desk was extremely helpful , the man working gave us a map and showed us all the top attractions circling each and going into detail about each place to see. Explained the transit to us which is right outside the hotel and we got bus tickets at front desk . The bus was crowded so wat h for pick pocketors but it's about a 10 minute bus ride and the main city is the last stop on the bus ride and sits there for about 20 minutes before going back the same route . The rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable . Had a mini fridge which was nice to store waters in . Bathroom was stocked with all sorts of goodies and soap which was nice and room was cleaned daily . Breakfast was great aswell , yummy cappuccinos and a varied spread of pastries and eggs and bacon . I would definetly recommend this hotel . Even with the bus ride , we were worried about being far from the city center but it was super easy and quick I would do it again .

"Hidden gem"
Villa Aruch is an oasis in the midst of a busy residential area. The character of the building and surrounding wall have been tastefully brought to life by the modern and daring architecture. We loved the whimsical art elements in the room and in the courtyard. Our room had a door directly out to the yard so we enjoyed an evening out on the patio furniture with a lovely bottle of wine. The room was perfectly designed to highlight the original structural elements.

"Great Location Welcoming Staff"
The B&B Hotel Firenze Novoli is a nice, likable hotel. Clean. No frills. Bidets in the bathroom! You get a sense of the history of Florence in the location and in the decor: simple, rustic buildings, nice breakfast (which is extra), lovely staff (helpful and willing) and comfortable beds. Overall I would say if you want to save a little money, and aren't planning to spend all your days lazing around in luxury hotel indulgences, this is the perfect place to stay. It's for anyone who wants to spend their money on shopping, touring, taking trains to different cities and spending most of your cash indulging in the sights and splendor of Florence. BTW, the staff can arrange tours for you. We did ours ourselves, but it isn't necessary.

"A hotel doing the basics"
We stayed for a few nights. Wasn't luxury, but we weren't expecting that. Surprising how earlier the bar/restaurant seemed to close. Difficult to get a drink.

Very bad reception service. People at front desk very rude. Do not believe that free parking means a parking space. Too much noise and nobody cares.
