“It will be our home away from home when we visit that area of Florida's coast in the future.”
The entire stay was a flawless experience of a well-trained staff that made one feel welcome. The food in the restaurant surprised by its quality and price, which has not always been our experience in hotel stays in the past. We had spent the first couple of days eating out and around the area, only to find at the end of our stay how wonderful the food in our own hotel was. The pool side attention to our needs was ample and the Tiki bar was just opening for the season. The staff there was incredibly friendly and made us reluctant to leave to go off and explore the area. The room was, by our standards for accomodations in their price range, a huge surprise. The bath area was spacious and well appointed and the shower was huge and beautifully done. We found everything we needed in the room to make our stay enjoyable and other needs were only a few steps away. The whole facility is spotless and the staff is constantly in motion to keep it that way. We only wish the new Landshark beach club had been finished in time for our stay but we will definitely be back to see how that turned out.
“Good Job Jimmy Buffet”
Loved this hotel. It is new, fabulous, very beautiully decorated, comfortable beds, nice big walk in shower and a nice mural painted on the wall. We read some reviews that the walls were thin and you could hear your neighbors every move. Not the case for us we had no issues with this. The Margaritaville bucket in the room was a nice touch, it had two bottles of waterr and two coupons for Landshark beer. We used the bucket to ice down beer and soda for the room. I saw some guys walking around the pool with them so it appeared you could bring your own beverages down to the pool. Who wouldn't like that feature. The beach is pink, the water is turquoise, reminds me of the caribean. No oil and cleaners are still down there with nets just in case. We used the gym, walked the beach one day and had dinner at the Landshark on the night it was open. Food was good nothing fancy but convenient to the hotel and they had a band later that night. Only negative about Pensacola Beach that I could see is that there doesn't appear to be a lot of restaurants in the area and we waited 45 minutes for a table at a restaurant in town one night. Didn't see any breakfast places or fast food joints. So not a lot of choices. We had food left over put it inthe fridge and ate it the next day for breakfast or lunch. We will be back.
“We can't wait to go back!”
Stepping into the lobby gives you a floor-to-ceiling view of the beach - all you can do is sigh heavily and release any stress you may have had upon arrival. Then repeat the process stepping into your room - wow, it was fantastic! We wished we could have stayed longer! The gulf facing room views are fantastic, and if you want a more interesting view of activities/boats etc. the bay side rooms are great too! The only oddity was the beach bar not being attached - so when you order food the servers leave and walk over to the main hotel to pick up the orders and bring the food back to the bar. No big deal, just interesting...
“Hunter and Madys Wedding in Pensacola”
I had a great time. Margaritaville Hotel became the hub of our experience. The location is walking distance to gulf breeze but far enough away that you don't feel as though you are "downtown'. Overall, a wondeful vacation destionation.
“best hotel on the beach”
Loved this hotel. Very clean and the rooms were beautiful. We had a veiw of the bay . The staff was very friendly. Only been home a week and have already recommened this hotel quite a few times.
“Can't wait to go back!”
Our stay was much to short at this magnificent hotel. It had a flair of Key West and a Carribbean Island atmosphere. Very "Jimmy Buffet" casual, but elegant. Steps to the beach and great views from the rooms. Just opened in 2010. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Pool area was beautiful. Hotel staff was pleasant and accomadating. Good food in the restarant, but room service was a limited menu. They have future plans for another Margarita Bar and restaurant. We can't wait to go back!
“tranquil”
Truly has the patent on "license to chill" every aspect is intended to be relaxing and comfortable. Loved the pool atmosphere, floats, awesome music and drinks, wonderful breeze off the Gulf. The bedding was amazing. Loved Land Shark Landing with live music, hammocks and volleyball. Overall great experience. Was actually sad that we were there for a festival and had to leave the hotel so much.
“Wish it didn't have a pencil thin wall.”
Gorgeous Hotel, Gorgeous location, Wonderful Service, Wonderful Food --Ewww paper thin walls. Probably one of the best hotels ever. Everything was planned out perfectly in this hotel, the views, the ammenities, the food, the bars. Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Tons of money went into every aspec of the hotel to make it the wonderful beach experiance that it is, except --- OMG you can hear every word, sound and bodily function from the next room! But a few margaritas or Landshark beers and you don't notice it anyway. Still love the place and can't wait to go back!
“4 Star hotel with 3 Star staff”
The hotel was perfect in terms of condition and proximity to the beach. However, the hotel staff was not as friendly and receptive as they could have been, especially for the rates they charge.
“Exactly our style, loved everything about it”
The hotel rooms and property are just as we expected - laid back beach feel with class. Views of the gulf from our balcony and the pool were great. Staff was very pleasant. Easy drive from the airport (15 miles). Close to restaurants and shopping.
