Motel is convenient for easy off and on I-84. There are several dine in and fast food restaurants nearby.
I made a reservation via Expedia. When we arrived, there was no one at reception. No bell to ring. After 7-8 minutes, I went to get my phone from the car to call the number for the Manager that was on a card at reception, because I didn't know what was going on. I was explaining this to my husband and a young woman walked up behind me and said "I'm right here." She goes in the staff door, and then comes out behind the reception desk. No hello, no welcome or how can I help you. Just "What do you need?"
I provided my Expedia confirmation info, and she said "I don't have a reservation for you." So, I said "Should I call Expedia"? And she replied "I'm not going to give you a room based on talking to someone on the phone." So, I asked her what I could do to help. She then said she was going to check the other computer.
While she was gone, I called Expedia. I asked if they had forwarded the reservation, and the Expedia agent said everything on the reservation looked fine. I had prepaid Expedia.
About 5 minutes later she comes back. She is complaining about the systems not working. Then she says "I need your ID." So, I said "Please" and handed her ID. She then said "I said please three times." Which she had not. She then said "I don't even know if I have this room available." Seriously needs customer service training or a new line of work.
