Hotels near Pedraza Castle

The location of this hotel could not have been more perfect-- right in the center of a pedestrian-only section of this beautiful Medieval town. My room faced the other way-- not the main street, so I didn't have the problem with the noise that another reviewer had, and also, I wasn't there on a Saturday night. From my room, I could look out my window and see the cathedral all lit up. On the first floor, outside of the salon (lounge) was a balcony I enjoyed reading a book on for a few hours one afternoon. When I first arrived, I needed the staff's help to solve a problem (I hadn't been able to rent a car and arrived on train, so would not be able to make my next destination), and with my 2.5 years of high school Spanish from 27 years ago, and her little bit of English, she was able to help me cancel my next stop and extend my stay there. She really went above and beyond. My room was not fancy, but it had a bathtub, which I really appreciated. The bed was not comfortable, but not a form of torture either. For my budget, this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Segovia has a gravel trail around the perimeter of town with a great view of the front of the palace, so bring your running shoes, or just walk it. Then, enjoy a glass of wine in the plaza (it's cheap and the tapas are free) while waiting for the outside of the cathedral to light up. Segovia's narrow streets are a fun maze to get lost in, and in evenings, live music from different outdoor tavernas fill the air.

I had a nice at this hotel. I was satisfied that the room was quite clean. The room was spacious compared to other hotels I stayed in Spain. Staff at the reception during most of my stay didn't speak much english but he was friendly and I was able to communicate in simple Spanish + English. Short walk to plaza mayor good location.

Great hotel. Perfectly situated on a very quiet street. Excellent value. Great morning buffet is worth extra 10 euros. Highly recommend. Wonderful staff and parking available on site.

It's a beautiful building in a fantastic location just off the Plaza Mayor, right in front of the Cathedral and midway between the Aqueduct and the Alcazar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was excellent. Would certainly stay there again.

This hotel was great. Great spot, helpful staff, very clean, everything you could want. The only problem we had was there was a weird pole in our room right next to the bed but you had to scoot around getting out. But our room was in the corner so it's probably not a common problem.

Amazing hotel. We only stayed I e night but this was the best hotel in town very close to everything. Highly recommended.

My wife and I like to travel and self-tour around the city. Segovia is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days, do nothing and relax.

If you're debating travelling to Segovia, definitely do it. The aqueduct is amazing and so is the castle. AND if you go to Segovia, stay at Don Felipe's. It's a fantastic hotel, very modern and the pictures don't do it justice. Definitely pay for the upgraded room. It was only about 5 Euro for us to upgrade which is less than some restaurants charge for a seat with a view here.(seriously). Stop debating, go to Segovia, and stay at Don Felipe's it could easily be the best choice you make on your trip.
