"Excellent resort...!!!..."
Everything was simply perfect!!!....The staff are awesome...!!!....Maybe the menu could be upgraded....because it could be more interesting for guests staying at the resort....instead of going off to the village where there are some interesting dining places...!!

"Best first trip to fiji"
After reading some reviews on this resort, I was a little sceptical about staying here, my partner and myself are so happy we didn't listen and decided to stay here, yes the resort maybe a little dated, but it's been around for some time and it's all part of the Island experiance, the staff were amazing, Mela, Matt, Lily, Meli and even our beautiful cleaner Orisi, I would DEFINATELY stay here again, they can't help if the weather isnt the best, the Lovo was beautiful, some of th Fijians call it the Fijian Hangi.

"Beautiful bures and excellent snorkelling"
The beachfront bures with plunge pool are beautiful. I loved the range of lazing options in my own yard - from comfy chairs to sunbed to plunge pool to hammock to day bed- I could have lounged all day. I loved that beqa is such a lush forest covered island and very different in appearance to the manamucas and yasawas. The snorkelling reef in front of the resort was extensive, colourful and fishy! The snorkel trip to Lawaki is also excellent - great colourful coral and some little reef sharks at the drop off.

"A must look at if you are a suffer or a diver! "
We had a terrific stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We liked the remoteness of the place and the evening meals are out of this world. The shark dive is a bucket list check off for sure! Can't stop thinking about our stay.

"Great property in paradise !!"
We stayed at Royal Davui resort for our honeymoon which was a perfect honeymoon destination. We stayed in a plunge pool villa facing the water. It was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed at. The beach and views were breathtaking, the villa was beautiful and so well maintained , the rest of the property had incredible views from every corner. Service was superior, staff were so genuine and helpful that you feel like part of their family. Food was so tasty and we got treated like a king and queen. The staff were so personable, place was very intimate. The activities were great , but the highlight was the sandpit picnic, we were taken by a boat to a private small sandy island in the middle of the ocean, incredible views, amazing experience. i think this is a perfect place for couples not so much for families as it's a very quiet property that I think designed to give romantic vibe.

"Out of the way resort in a magical beach location"
This was a surprise. I was expecting a standard beachfront resort, but this one is nestled in a small gully leading to one of the best beaches we saw in Fiji, with the villas set back on the hill. Up the beach is Crusoe's retreat, with a real Fijian village in between.

"Top remote location right next to a coral reef"
Very nice staff. Dee is a fun host Fiji beach house style buildings & culture Fans & no air-con. Not for the frail, the terrain is hilly Remote location great for a retreat Next to local village where you can engage with local people(Namaquamaqua)where many staff live. Resort offers an interesting variety of fun complimentary activities.we enjoyed trivia night and weaving lessons by Mali. Also free Fijian language class/ local village tour & kava ceremony/snorkeling gear /volleyball matches with locals/village Church service.....& more Complimentory breakfast is also welcome Mary's massage by the village beach is a must! Villagers offer various activities for a negotiable free. ..BE GENEROUS! Tropical fish everywhere right in front of the resort Great Scuba diving locations, but we didn't go Complimentary (ours was a double)kayaks are fun Good meals for the price. Crusoes retreat has won our hearts

"Beautiful setting and grounds on the beach. "
We had a cosy bure with a private outside bathroom open to the sky! The comfy queen bed had a mozzie net and the louvre windows allowed good ventilation with privacy. The main bar/restaurant had a nice atmosphere and even when busy didn't feel crowded. The menu was varied with good freshly prepared food. There are plenty of activities available throughout the day which are posted on a blackboard; but they don't impose on those who are not partaking. The scuba dive lessons in the pool seemed to be well attended. There is a newly opened track up the hillside which you can go with a guide for stunning views over the resort and the surrounding hills.
