“Quality Service Improvements required”

Check in process could have been quicker if staff attended to us or one person at a time rather than trying to answer phone calls, attend to the security guard and bidding farewell to other guests while we were made to wait. Rather unprofessional and not a good impression on the hotel. We booked for tower double rooms and emailed the hotel re- booking confirmation for Mr & Mrs. To our shock, we were given a room with 2 seperate single beds, sheets were dirty & not changes, room was full of mosquitoes. Receptionist advised that there were no other vacant rooms available. Lucky I had taken a printout of the hotel's confirmation of tower double rooms and after complaining and waiting for some time, we finally given a room with double bed. House keeper was supportive and provided us with electrical anti mosquito repellent. They attended to our needs and made sure that everything in the room was fine. Also to our shock, our rooms were allocated in the attached building - we were asked to walk out of the reception area, walk past the cars parked in the frontage car park and walk to another wing of the building attached to the hotel. What an inconvenience especially when one has to travel for hours and then to experience the above. TV was not working so the man came to check and a click of the button, it worked and he stood there for a while expecting a 'tip'. I thanked him but he stood there so I actually had to tell him to leave. Hotel looked great from outside.
