"Elegant hotel, great location, excellent service. "
Perfect location in Pasadena, very walkable to city hall, convention area, parks and shopping/restaurant district and if you don't feel like walking, the hotel will shuttle you within a few miles. Very nice lobby, friendly staff, good equipment in gym, nice gardens and bar/lounge. Only drawback is double beds room is cramped, get a king room instead.
I booked a room for three people and was given a king size bed, which didn't make sense. But they were able to give me a room with two double beds. The room was nice and clean. It would have been nice to have a fan in the bathroom for steam. The floor was slick and I slipped, tweaking my back a bit.
Overall, I feel that given the size of the room, I could probably have found a better value but it was comfortable.
Great hotel! Had lots to do in the area and was very centrally located. Parking structure was a little far if you have lots of bags and not much in the way of parking closer to drop them off. The room was wonderful. Had no complaints and the bed was amazing
I doubted places like this still existed. Nice, clean, remodeled (I don't know when but most things were up to date in the room) the staff was friendly, and it wasn't expensive! Will totally stay here again.
Pasadena sees life through rose-colored glasses each New Year. The city hosts the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, along with the Rose Bowl Game college football championship. Pasadena also tends its roots at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. Aside from its original Gutenberg Bible and Canterbury Tales, the institution is regarded for its 120 acres of gardens.
