Great location but amenities are lacking
Amazing location. Nice building and inside the appartment. Very smooth checkin. However- a few things need updating. Toilet, wifi, microwave worked sporadically. Some power sockets don’t work. No hand soap or shower gel and a few small bottles of half used moisturiser. Blankets rather than duvet.

Great city well worth a visit, defo coming back, book at this hotel to be bang in the centre of it. People friendly, food really really good, family always accommodated. Visit to the war cemeteries was emotional and a must.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately our room was infested with bed bugs. Killed one bug. Found 16 bites on me the next morning. And two on my kid. Definitely puts a damper on our stay in Arras.

Basic with a great view.
Lovely view of Place de Heroes Square. Basic room, but very clean. Would have been nice to have a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. Otherwise very pleasant stay.

Very good Arras hotel in the best location
Stayed one night. Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Room overlooking the beautiful Arras Town Hall on the very attractive Place des Heros. Can't get better than that. Tourist information office is just inside the Town Hall. Good breakfast with many items.

We had a wonderful time during our stay there. All the staff was very helpful, the room quite pleasant, the daily breakfast more than adequate. That our room overlooked the square was a plus. If we ever find ourselves back in Arras, we would happily stay here again.

Fantastic location; worth requesting a room looking onto the square. Rooms are small and decor tired but perfectly functional. Great to have a bath as well as shower. Breakfast was excellent.

Great apartment in the centre of Arras.
Perfect location in the centre of town. The owner was nice and friendly and gave us advice of where to park and where to find the nearest patch of green to walk the dog. A tourist guide was also provided. The flat was spacious and comfortable with a great view on the Place des Heros. A nicely modernised flat with all amenities and comforts within an older building full of character. Coffee machine, milk, orange juice, a selection of cereals, and complimentary toiletries were a very appreciated touch. Our family of 5 (and the dog) really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if/when we return to Arras.

Lovely hotel very convenient to central Arras
Loved the feel of the family apartment. All the mod cons with a traditional feel and decor. Perfect location right in the centre of Arras for sightseeing etc. Although literally above a square filled with busy street bars/cafes the glazing on the windows was excellent as we weren’t disturbed by late night noise at all.

Unpleasant stay in Arras
Pretty unsatisfied with this hotel. The proprietor was helpful to our requests but otherwise pretty dour. I thought breakfast was included in our two night stay but when I partook in the available continental breakfast after our first night I was surprised to be charged for it. The room was maybe 90 square feet and looked like it had seen better days. The hotel fronted a courtyard which as very attractive by day but we had to suffer through the noisy bar patrons until after 1 am.

Perfect location and historic building
Lovely building full of character and history. Located perfectly by L'Hotel de Ville in Place des Heros, around the corner from Grande Place. Close to historic sites and shopping, lots of restaurants and places to linger over a glass of wine right in the square. Hosts were helpful and breakfast had lots of great choices. Our room was small, but there are larger rooms and suites available as well. No lift, but the building and setting were worth the walk up to our room, which had great views. If you want something quiet, this isn't it, but if you want to be in the heart of Arras this is perfext. Would definitely stay there again and refer it to friends.

Very well equipped apartment on the 2nd Floor.Fridge had milk and orange juice in it and great coffee machine with pods provided. Parking a 5 minute walk in the Grande Place underground car park for 10 euros a day.Nice and warm with lots of heaters. Lovely outlook on Place des Heroes.

I booked a single room, it was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. The room was clean but quite basic. The internet & wifi was down which was very disappointing The owner was friendly

The hotel is well located right in the picturesque Place de Les Heros close to plenty of eateries. It is old fash.ioned and the room was on the small side but clean and comfortable. Host was welcoming. All a bit like staying with an old french aunt.

Stayed in the Hotel Diamant for 1 night en route to Calais. Mainly chose because it's dog friendly and its central location. Right on the main square with brilliant views from the window. Handy for restaurants, bars etc. The room was basic, clean, small but comfortable. It was good for 1 or 2 nights. Complimentary coffee/tea/juice and nice breakfast (extra charge) Parking just round the corner.

Had a great stay here. The room was small and old fashioned but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Exellent with choices for those requiring glutton free etc. Staff are very helpful and obliging. The great feature of this hotel is it is located in the bustling town square. Full of bars and restaurants. Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing room
A little dissapointed as although the hotel was reasonably priced and the owner very helpful we were not happy with our room. The bed was clean and comfortable but the room was very small and needed refurbishing. The biggest downside was the shower which was filthy, so dirty that my wife refused to use it

Quaint little hotel in the heart of Arras.
Exceptional staff who waited for us as we were late for check in. Lovely view from our window of the Place d'Heroes. Still hard to manoeuver the flights of circular stairs with luggage so be prepared. Rooms are small but clean and the bed made for a restful sleep. I would return.

Good dog-friendly hotel in a great location.
For our 2 nights in Arras the location was perfect. Staying with our dog we got the top floor room and, yes, the rooms may be smaller than a chain hotel and there is no lift but for service and value for money we were very happy with it. There are 15-minute free parking bays almost immediately outside the hotel for loading/unloading, when the market isn't on, and secure underground parking in the next square, which the hotel has good rates for. The owner was friendly and welcoming and we would happily stay there again.

Perfect location, lovely staff.
Great location in the centre of town, used a public car park 2 mins away. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were in an apartment room which was spacious and well-equipped, suited to a longer stay as it had facilities for self catering. Note that there is no lift however so you may have to carry your suitcases up the stairs. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of fresh fruit and pastries and bread and cereals on offer. Arras is a wonderful city in general also, so highly recommend a visit!

Top Location
We passed by a couple of times before spotting the entrance and managed to secure a parking place to unload. Once inside reception the welcome was warm and friendly and we were re allocated to a room on the first floor to minimise stair climbing for my wife. There is no lift! The day was hot and the restaurants and bars in the square were busy but there was plenty of choice and it's only a matter of moments from the hotel to relaxing in the sun. Similarly there was plenty of choice for an evening meal and all in walking distance. We intend to return for a longer stay and would recommend the hotel as it offers a great location and good 2 star accommodation.

Large apartment, well appointed 2 bedrooms, nice living room and kitchen. Owner was friendly and helpful. The one issue was the toilet room smelled of mold. We kept the door shut because the odor was so strong. Otherwise the apartment was well located and was nice and parking was close.

Wonderful hotel with an idyllic view of the châtea
Great location overlooking the lake and a wonderful view of the château. Lovely welcome, friendly staff, very clean room with tea and coffee supplies. Be aware that parking is a 2 minute walk up the road and there is no lift, however this was not an issue for us. Breakfast was a generous buffet which was lovely. The village had plenty of places to eat and drink, mini golf and boating on the lake.

Good location but that's it. Avoid!
Shabby crusty, not shabby chic. The carpets are threadbare, wallpaper peeling on the stairwell. Our room had blood marks on the walls where mosquitoes had been swatted. The sheets on the bed were itchy. The bathroom had a sticky floor and mouldy tiles. The owner was surly and unwelcoming. The most he said to us was on departure when he tried to punt his own website to us to avoid him paying commission. Not a chance in hell we'd be back. We stayed one night and that was too long.

Hotel superbly sited overlooking Pl des Heros & Arras town hall. All facilities within easy strolling distance. Very courteous manager/owner. Compact room but comfortable & very clean. Would happily stay there again.
