“Great stopping off place”

We used the hotel as a first stop en route to Dusseldorf, arriving circa 2130hrs from the chunnel. Sat Nav found the address straight away, and the check in was straight forward as all documentation had been handled via the Expedia website. Room was warm and clean and good enough for a brief stop. Car Park was crowded however, and I don't think it was locked / secure at night.Breakfast was fine.

“One night in Calais”

The hotel was fine for a one night stopover in Calais as we arrived on a late ferry. Our room was guaranteed for late arrival, and the hotel was relatively easy to find thanks to the good (but small!) signposts. The aircon caused the hotel problems, both our room and another room they tried for us had broken aircon, which was uncomfortable as it was hot. The staff were friendly however, and the room was clean and functional.

“You get what you pay for.”

No curtains on the windows and food at restaurant was terrible. Staff was nice and price was okay, but I would not stay there again.
